2DIY4 („to die for“, the sublabel of Diynamic Music) is embarking onto a new journey. With this next release 2DIY4 is starting a new chapter in its history, turning away from the classic 4/4 House formula and towards new, outstanding and sincere Indie Downtempo Electronica music.

With a highly artistic approach, it aims to paint a holistic picture that shapes its identity with all inherent components - sonic and visual. The golden thread that runs through it all is the question “what would you die for?” – creatively replied to by the artists.

The first artist under the label’s new identity is Lunar Plane, consisting of identical twin brothers Emre and Mert from Istanbul. They answered: “We would die for each other, so the first thing comes to mind is twinhood.” Together with LA-based October’s Child on the vocals, they deliver the first of many chilling Electronica EPs for 2DIY4.

Exotic vibrations, sacred chants create spiritual ambiances, the debut EP of Carlita, bringing light to our souls, delicate composition and balance. Narayana is a spiritual and unpretentious combination of ethnic beats, Latin rhythms, mantras, and melancholia. Narayana means the one who rests in water. Carlita is taking you on a journey, where you can rest in water while feeling every truth of the life. 

In this debut, she worked with musicians from Palestine, Nicaragua, Senegal, and India. According to her, love for music will allow people to sync brains and share the same emotional experience. As Wyoma said, "Singing and dancing along is what binds a community together. It is a way of expressing joy, sorrow, and passion".

"Notes against the Current“ was completely patched and composed on a modular synth. Since there’s no technical possibility to edit or save the music, most of the tracks are more or less  unique live recordings, with the modular acting as a canvas for moods and memories being reflected in the moment of patching the tracks. 

HHNOI’s music is like an evolving soundtrack, with harmonies and melodies you would not expect coming out of machinery that is often being ridiculed for sounding like rather car alarm sounds than listenable music. Nevertheless, HHNOI is far from being easy. As with his former projects, Petracca likes to break with expectations, by transforming enchantingly melancholic and lush harmonies and melodies into walls of feedback noises.

Born and raised in limited-travel zone of West Berlin, Madmotormiquel always had music and collecting records on his mind from an early age.After the Berlin Wall was well and truly down his home city was filled with more space than the ravers knew how to sing and dance about, this is when the name Madmotormiquel became synonymous with everything the Berlin house music parade has been known for since.

‘Cool Trainer’ sees him join up with the Klassified family, his colourful side is enlightened, a true peacock is born.

‘Cool Trainer’ kicks things off with tension-building notes throughout that harmonise with rolling percussion and a tranquilising sax alluring you in gracefully before Iorie, a multi-instrumentalist, live act and producer from Germany delivers a meditative remix of ‘Cool Trainer’ fusing zapping synths that whirl underneath the warm organic drums and eccentric vocals.

The Egyptian producer Fulltone provides a hypnotising interpretation of ‘Cool Trainer’ as the cosmic waves balance delicately with acid-tinged modulations until ‘Palermo Poodle’ rounds things off with gentle progressive melodies, vibrant percussive hits and euphoric oscillations to create an exquisite atmosphere to finish.
