2DIY4 („to die for“, the sublabel of Diynamic Music) is embarking onto a new journey. With this next release 2DIY4 is starting a new chapter in its history, turning away from the classic 4/4 House formula and towards new, outstanding and sincere Indie Downtempo Electronica music.

With a highly artistic approach, it aims to paint a holistic picture that shapes its identity with all inherent components - sonic and visual. The golden thread that runs through it all is the question “what would you die for?” – creatively replied to by the artists.

The first artist under the label’s new identity is Lunar Plane, consisting of identical twin brothers Emre and Mert from Istanbul. They answered: “We would die for each other, so the first thing comes to mind is twinhood.” Together with LA-based October’s Child on the vocals, they deliver the first of many chilling Electronica EPs for 2DIY4.

The Greek-based, Chicago-born producer/ DJ first came in contact with electronic music in 1992, discovering his preference and talent for deejaying. He soon started playing around clubs and open-air parties and joined forces with Vasilis Giouvris aka Yosebu in 2000 and under the name Acropod they released their first album on Klik records and a few singles and remixes on labels around the globe. 
Today, Savvas is on his personal music journey with the same passion he had and still has for music, he keeps experimenting with different kinds of sounds and rhythms and releasing singles expanding his musical style.

The 10th edition of “Four To The Floor” is here. Diynamic Music’s very own various artist series, which is always comprised of four dancefloor-oriented tracks that have one special quality in common: they have all been heavily road tested and certified by label boss Solomun on his countless gigs all over the world.
First up is “Caos” by Valencia-based Upercent, a percussion-heavy, densely layered journey through the African Jungle. Next comes straight Techno from Russia, namely “Rhythm for Me” by Eclept. Track 3 called “Reflection” by gizA feat. Melody Stranger is a melodic Tech House production and closing off is dreamy and melancholic Deep House track “Why Should” by BOg feat. Tim Engelhardt.

Barnt and Stephan Bodzin, two artists whose stand-out performances at recent Afterlife events have made them firm favourites with the crowds, are tapped for the remixes of Tale Of Us & Vaal's latest single 'Monument' (AL006). They both take on the title track, Barnt opting for a rolling, percussive direction and Bodzin more ethereal and transportive. For the digital-only third contribution, Adriatique (the Swiss duo of Adrian Schweizer and Adrian Shala) give the drums some extra punch and cloak the vocal in spacey reverb.

He is a key flag bearer in the modern day progressive genre within dance music, as well as being regarded as one of Coldharbour's most outstanding talents. Continuing his multilayered We Are One journey; Solid Stone presents an expanded second chapter; spanning five tracks on this occasion.

However, one striking aspect of We Are One: Chapter 2 is an ever-increasing reflection and appreciation towards Solid Stone's home surroundings; paying homage to the afterhours capital of the world, Montreal, Quebec. 

Individually, the tracks Detox, They Come at Night and Just About Right sit right at home in the electric environment of the small hours; with Detox a feature in Markus Schulz's recent open to close solo set at Stereo, and They Come at Night starring in the special themed Global DJ Broadcast Afterdark. 

But for Solid Stone, the We Are One series isn't just about his own efforts. He recruits rising Dutch talent THNK for the pacey and unforgiving Demorgorgon, whilst Michael Gin returns to the fray with a beautifully lush slice of vocal progressive alongside Dan Robinson, in the form of Moments.
