If you would have dropped in on a Monday night you would have found me along with Cumba Mela fam, Atropolis, Thornato and Brooklyn Shanti throwing down. Those days were truly special. So many moments and relations came from there. The place continues to be a gem in the underground global music community. So many cultures converge here. This mix is truly a time capsule.  Heavy on deep Colombian and hip hop cumbia vibes. Enjoy. Recorded at bembe in 2011  and dug up in 2016 for your listening pleasure. Still fresh.

One Night at Bembe

Here i take you deep into the magick of deep global- soulful house music. Played this kind of vibe on burn night on thunder Gumbo art car then at Bubbles and Bass. Bubbles and bass may have been one of the greatest dj experiences i have had on the playa. The original recording got deleted by the playa but here is an attempt to replicate that night in all its glory. I usually do not do straight 5 hours of house music but when i do... its the good kind. Here is part one of that nights journey.  enjoy. A Dream in Dusty Sands

Here i give you a glimpse into my set at Funky Town this past year at burning man. This entire day was magical. The energy was incredible, i warmed up the room then ended my set that lead into a an epic drum session and then my brother nickodemus came on after. These events are truly special. This is the first part of a 2 and half hour set. last part after an epic drum interlude maybe didn't get recorded.  Playing these events are truly special. Judson Church is legend. To play music in its walls is truly something. Its hard to understand thru this mix but play it loud. It's all about the dance. Being there and djaying its a vessel to Aegria, Xcelsior. Started with some very deep global sounds which u will find thru the mix and we really created a spaceship that went to other worlds. Enjoy.
