Eschaton: The 2024 Omni Sessions - Volume 12

Parasite is a duo of producers from Germany who have evolved from Dubstep enthusiasts into one of the leading acts in the Halfstep scene.

Their musical journey began in 2006 when Chris and Niels joined forces under the Dutty Dubz project, focused on Dubstep. They quickly gained recognition with releases on notable labels such as Wheel & Deal Records and Soul Shakerz, founded by J:Kenzo.

Driven by their passion for dark and atmospheric music, they embarked on a quest for a unique sound. This creative evolution led to an increase in tempo and the birth of Parasite in 2013.

We are thrilled to present their new four-track EP, supported by Akinsa and Redlum.

Binary Echoes grew out of the idea of fusing the essences of man and technology, the result of which is a new life form called Binary Echoes. The album examines the whole process and the chaotic nature of this fusion under the lens of a microscope - an abundance of broken rhythms, sweeping industrial soundscapes, frantic micro-rhythms, ruthless drilling by percussion sections: everything comes together and just as quickly falls apart, keeping the heartbeat of this fusion in rhythm. Agnost1k is proud to welcome 2methyl with his new album : Etched.

Our goal, was to create once again a unique physical project to deliver you this unconventional album by the french producer 2methyl. As we heard on his first full album Layer 8, he is definitely an example of creativity.

Etched assembled some complex and detailed sound design structures, around many different styles. His futuristic dark drum n’bass and IDM identity, reaches for Agnost1k some advanced aspects of his Art.

This album delivers a fine experimental and industrial way of playing with all the muscial environnements of this concept. The listeners will appreciate a high level of production which includes some deep field recordings and a slight touch of modular synthesis. For those who know 2methyl on stage, you will also recognise the impressive percussion’s work directly recorded by the drummer Youlé.

We also want to draw the attention on various tracks like « Cross » which includes a featuring with Kdeath from the US Hip Hop band, Moodie Black. Germanium with it's jazzy rhythm or the tecknoid track « tech2 » finished the global creative process of this golden etched concept.

Agnost1k has decided to release this album into a limited 50 collector copies. A special gold edition of our handcrafted CD box.
