Falscher Hase - Lebenslänglich (Dezember 2011)

Heute vor drei Wochen erhielt ich eine sehr traurige Nachricht, die mir mal wieder vor Augen geführt hat, dass "Carpe Diem!" keine bloße Floskel ist. Einen persönlichen Abschied gab es leider nie. Dieser Mix ist ein musikalischer Abschiedsgruß und soll jedem in schweren Zeiten Kraft schenken, denn manche Lichter erlischen leider viel zu früh, auch wenn sie für uns immer weiter strahlen werden...

"Mögest du immer Rückenwind haben und stets Sonnenschein im Gesicht. Und mögen die Schicksalsstürme dich hinauftragen, auf dass du mit den Sternen tanzt!". Gute Reise mein Freund!

Illute - Viva la Ignorancia (Tanzkurs Edit)

Die Magie der Unwissenheit... in 3 elektronischen Neuinterpretationen wird sie zur hochgradig tanzbaren Hymne für Lebemenschen. Als Grundlage dient ein deutsch-spanischer Song von Illute. In Viva La Ignorancia besingt sie nämlich die nicht vorhandene Notwenigkeit, immer alle Details zu kennen. Zur musikalischen Begleitung kommen im ursprünglich auf LasVegas Records erschienenen Titel erdige Bläserklänge, temperamentvolle Gitarren und handgemachte Rhythmik zum Einsatz. Eine Mischung, die natürlich voll und ganz ins Beuteraster von Kombinat100 passt. Für ihren Remix hatte die illustre Truppe eine klassische Guitaren-Session mit Jörg Schwenzer. Das Ergebnis ist eine faszinierend stimmige Mischung aus Strophen, Refrains und eingängigem, elektronischem Groove. Der zusätzliche Instrument Mix liefert einen stark hitverdächtigen Ausflug in Kombinat100’s einzigartiges Wunderland der blubbernden Bässe, tänzelnden Delays und verspielten Filtermodulationen. Nicht zuletzt gelingt auch dem Berliner Duo dingdongdilly eine mitreißende Vermählung von Songstruktur, knackigen Beats und zündendem Club-Schub.



The bliss of ignorance... is the inspiration for 3 electronic remixes, 3 highly danceable anthems for all hedonists. Their basic idea is a German-Spanish song by Illute. In Viva La Ignorancia she reminds the listener that it is not always necessary to know about all the details. The title, originally released on LasVegas Records, comes with the organic sound of wind players, with vivacious guitars, and with lots of hand-made rhythms. Quite obviously this mixture is a perfect match for Kombinat100. So the illustrious combo had a classic guitar-session with Jörg Schwenzer. The result is an intriguing melange of verses, refrains, and catchy electronic grooves. Also the instrumental mix has everything it takes to become a hit, even without the vocal part: Kombinat100 take the listener on a ride to their wonderland of bubbling bass lines, bouncy delays, and playful filter modulations. Last but not least also dingdongdilly, a duo from Berlin, manages to create a seamless connection of song structure, crunchy beats, and high-octane club boost.

A mix with exclusive edits of acoustic songs made by Pupkulies for SNTLS (by Soundwall). The songs are rearranged a bit and combined with some straight bassdrums and percussions to give the original acoustic versions some more energy. From time to time you can notice some melodies and voices by Pupkulies & Rebecca in the mix but at last he wanted to preserve the beauty of the original versions.
