With the season well underway, Get Physical is hitting the ground running with the 18th edition of Full Body Workout. If case you’ve been living under a rock the last decade, Full Body Workout aims to shine a spotlight on some of the hottest rising and established talent for their take on where the scene is now, and where it might be headed. So finding tracks by visionaries like Pezzner, NIBC and Nils Hoffman shouldn’t come as a surprise. The compilation opens with a floor-moving tech-house groove from Supernova to set everything into motion. Quickly following is Pezzner with ‘Julie’, a small shift down in energy initially, only to rise to peak time levels over the course of the track. Eagles & Butterflies then shakes down the floor with a percussion driven beauty, ‘Awakening’. Nils Hoffman up next. The young German producer delivers a stunning track full of bass swells and calls it ‘Storms’. Hold out for the elegant piano lines in the break, a brilliant contrast to the dark and heavy bass surrounding it. Now we’ve reached the halfway point, and we don’t want to spoil the surprises to come from the likes of NIBC, Kevin Yost (who’s skillfully pulled of the continuous mix here as well), Savvas Ysatis & Olga Kouklaki, P41, Hawie and Ilona Maras, Sanja feat. Sutja Gutierrez.

As soon as the lights on the dance-floor went out there was a stir through the club. Word was out that old Acid Cow had a strange dream the previous night and wished to speak about it it to all the other animals. This old fellow was so highly regarded that everyone was ready to lose an hour’s sleep in order to know what happened. The animals began to arrive and make themselves comfortable one by one.

First arrived the mountain cow Debal Sommer, followed by the Falling Cows, who settled down in the straw right in front of living legend Attila Manju. In the meantime Timboletti perched himself on the window-sill but then fluttered up to the rafters, Frech & Koch lay down behind golden gated Didier Dlb and Breger with his robs and began to chew the cud. The cows from Langegarden came in together, walking very slowly and setting down their vast hairy hoofs with great care. After them entered Peter Groskreutz, the nordic cowboy and https://soundcloud.com/FolicState, who waited quite a while for this unique gathering. All the animals were now present except Aphe, who trapped voices behind the sub woofer. When old Acid Cow saw that they had all made themselves comfortable and were waiting attentively, he cleared his throat and began...

Celebrating all the things music can say that words can’t, we joyfully present the fourth installment of the ‘Words Don’t Come Easy’ compilation.  Sixteen tracks in total, from WhoMadeWho to Blunted Dummies, we’ve gathered a selection that speaks for itself. M.A.N.D.Y.’s ‘Higher and Lower’ remix of WhoMadeWho’s ‘Hi & Low’ opens the package. Tomas Høffding’s vocals spread out, setting a warm tone for the compilation. The next track is a brand new exclusive, Savvas Ysatis & Olga Kouklaki’s tech-house burner, ‘Big Fish Fight’. Managing the energy well the track rides a lower, but consistent vibe, swirling and dipping throughout. Of course, that’s only the first two tracks. We’ve got plenty more to go. Loco Dice’s ‘Kliptown Love’ remix of Black Coffee’s vocal hit ‘Buya’ featuring the stunning vocal talents of Toshi is included, and J.U.D.G.E. makes no less than two appearances, once with Noir in ‘Messiah’ and again in Henry Saiz’s remix of Eagles & Butterflies somber masterpiece ‘We Get High’. With so many more beautiful like this tracks inside, don’t put it in words, say it with music.

Savvas Ysatis & Olga Kouklaki - Big Fish Fight

This gorgeous and haunting piece of minimal, melodic techno from Matt Dwellers first appeared on Techgnosis Vol. III earlier this year, while the initial plans for this remix-focused single/EP go back to mid-2016.  

Label artists Crennwick and Ken Zo put their own progressive tech-focused spin on the track, while newcomer Doppel and special guest Mila Dietrich dive into more deep and tech house territory.
