Swiss music producer Thom Nagy - @thomnagy - released his "Damals" EP last year. The compilation involved his distinctive broad sounds, fluttering synths and warm subtly-applied basses. The EP's three tracks have now been remixed and will be published as Basel-based Gelbes Billet Musik's 30th release on April 30th, 2014.

Der Schweizer Musikproduzent Thom Nagy - @thomnagy - brachte im vergangenen Jahr seine EP "Damals" raus. Die Zusammenstellung bestand aus seinen charakteristischen, weiten Hallräumen, flatternden Synths und warmen, subtil eingesetzten Bässen. Die drei Werke der EP wurden nun geremixed und am 30. April 2014 auf dem Label auf dem Label Gelbes Billett Musik, das in Basel sitzt, als 30. Katalognummer veröffentlicht. What would a blue summer sky be without the organic contrast of some white clouds? The track White Clouds by Marc Grabber & Bastian adds a dash of highly danceable texture to the firmament of the electronic soundscape. Its floating melodies are just as weightless and fluffy as those structures up there. However, the intricate, tribalistic rhythm section adds a powerful dose of down-to-earth push to this tune. There's also two remixes: René Bourgeois uses his thundering claps and whipping hit hats to turn White Clouds into a dramatic storm cloud formation, whereas Mollono.Bass sheds the mellow light of a sunset onto White Clouds using a flowing sub-bass line and an ornate, highly musical arrangement.

Hitting the Proton Music release catalogue in July 2017, the "Glass Elevator" EP was a highlight in the summer schedule. As we now return to the title work, a pair of new remixes from a hugely talented quartet take the track to new heights.

Renowned and hugely respected within the underground dance arena, Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic have been at the forefront of the scene for well over a decade. Finding success with a debut on Tilth Music in 2007, Georgia based, Michael and Levan teamed up with Croatian producer and close friend, Stiven Rivic, to create one of the most successful collaborative partnerships. Multi-talented and a professional athlete in the case of Rivic, the trio founded the hugely influential Mistique Music and Kunai Records imprints to impressive effect with the "State of Liberty" debut coming on the former in April 2009. Never looking back, Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic have found themselves allied to a host of blue chip labels that include Perspectives Digital, JOOF and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat.

Making a statement of intent with a debut remix of Andre Sobota's "Concluded" for Proton Music in May 2017, September's "Gamma Rays" represented a first original release alongside a pair of outstanding remixes. Now returning to the label, the Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic remix takes the core rhythmic groove of "Glass Elevator" and takes it firmly into dance floor friendly territory with a pounding beat and wonderfully evolving melodic components. Erupting at the mid-point a huge eight-note stab hypnotically pulses across the track's third movement with a chorus of outstanding additional production material.

Making significant waves in a very short timeframe, French producer, Ahmad Qatramiz, has risen to prominence with his Quatri moniker and a unique blend of deep house and electronica to create "electronic, organic emotional, music". Aiming to bring emotional content through analogue sounds and club friendly tracks, Quatri's work for German imprint, Nie Wieder Schlafen, has been exceptional. Centred around the "Into the Oblivion" EP in late 2017, the triptych provided a window into the French producer's musical soul with accompanying remixes from Kincaid and Rudy. Now debuting on Proton Music with a stunning reworking of "Glass Elevator", Quatri has created a wonderful dark and brooding interpretation that imbues the original with a deliciously laid-back rhythmic cadence and subterranean kick. Developing subtly over a near ten-minute voyage, an organic lead provides elegant vibrato detail that is then accompanied by a counterpoint melody that has its origins in wooden pan-pipes that flutter across the mid-range with coruscating delays that pan the stereo spectrum. Resonating the melodic themes of "Glass Elevator", Quatri's skill is to take them and extend them into innovative directions to create a work of genuine skill and craft.

A pair of remixes from Michael and Levan, Stiven Rivic and Quatri find the "Glass Elevator" shimmering and sparkling in a new aural glow.

Seth Schwarz teamed up with his funky fellow Be Svendsen, and together they created something that has the same UV index and the same amount of fresh air as a festival with perfect climatic conditions: During its epic 10 minutes of play time, their highly melodic track “Elves of Karoo” grows just as big and exciting as a full weekend on a dancefloor bathed in a generous amount of direct sunlight. Furthermore, Seth Schwarz adds the solo track “Quando Rando” that is slower but just as compelling and that reflects the classical composition skills of this producer in an intriguingly subliminal way. The amount of great producers who contribute remixes for this EP lives up to the idea of a perfect festival, as well – a festival for lovers of catchy yet sophisticated dance music, that is.

Seth Schwarz und Be Svendsen haben gemeinsam etwas geschaffen, dessen UV-Index und Frischluftgehalt einem Festival mit Bilderbuch-Bedingungen entspricht: Ihr hochgradig melodiöser Track “Elves of Karoo” ist in seinen epischen 10 Minuten Spielzeit mindestens genauso groß und ereignisreich wie ein Wochenende auf einer Tanzfläche unter freiem Himmel. Im Alleingang legt Seth Schwarz außerdem den etwas langsameren, aber genauso zugkräftigen Titel “Quando Rando” nach, in dem er seine klassischen Kompositionskünste mit zurückhaltender Eleganz einsetzt. Die Menge der hochkarätigen Künstler, welche für die Remixes an Bord geholt wurden, entspricht übrigens ebenfalls dem Bild eines Festivals mit Bilderbuch-Bedingungen für Freunde eingängiger und doch anspruchsvoller Tanzmusik.

Bunte Kuh is back with a brilliant remix package that finds some on point names add their own spin to Roman Blum’s Menekeita. First up is Amount, who goes for a zoned out and dreamy deep house remix characterised by a hook lead synth that's buried deep beneath smeared sci fi fads. Debal Sommer then goes for a more rugged and dark track with phased bass and corrugated hooks that rumble over the drums. A break down brings an epic lead synth to the fore and from there you’re carried off into the cosmos. Last of all, Foolik offers a spritely version with deep drums and excellent synth work that is full of soul and steps you up for a great ride. This is a standout package that offers three varied and vital cuts.

dj- producer- video producer – cinematographer. „Music is like my diary“ If our appriciated earth had an orbit and inclination, who would prolong our day, René Bourgeois would be one of the first, who would use this additional time usefull. The Dresden born musicaesthete is bustling like no one else. Already as very young teenager he was harkening to the secrets of 16Bit, Art of Noise, Off or Yello. His relocation to Chaos-City, like a lot people like to call the capital, was decisive for his coming musical development. Supported by his sister, he was collecting his music favourites on cassettes and vinyls. At this time these has been luxury goods in grey East-Berlin. So he was meticolus collecting music, which stimuladet his synapsis and was listening to the sophisticated tones of the radiostations. With his schoolmate Daniel Steinberg,he founded a school radio, to use his collected treasures Who is wondering about that Daniel Steinberg aka Harry Axt – had aswell a glorious DJ-Carrier.

With the reunification of Germany René started going to the new Berlin Clubs . A short time later when they started to evoke the culture shock of techno, he was finding him self behind the turntables.
At this time he was starting to know a lot of friends, who are accopanying him till today. Sascha Braemer-Hirtenfelner, the creative head and lableowner, is one of them. With him as partner, he started first projects and musicproduction were following soon. Till this time he was following his was passionated with the view to be able to life from his music In the year 2003 he was opening a new chapter in his life: cinematography and videoproduction. Also he was able to gain respect quite fast with the things he did. In the end of 2008 he had with „4myRecordz“ (supdub) his biggest success till than as producer this was putting him on an international level. Today there are 20 years of passion for electronic music and a diary with an uncountable number of chapters. We will see forward what he has to write in future.
