French composer Worakls finds his way back to the Hungry Music imprint, after recently releasing the “Adagio For Square” smash hit on Pete Tong’s FFRR Records. Worakls is currently breaking new ground with his trademark sound - fusing live musical elements with cutting edge electronic music production skills. His latest adventure is named “Question Réponse”, a dramatic piece of modern dance music, featuring blaring horns, an incredible romantic string section as well as arpeggiated synth layers to provide enormous drive. The thick rolling bassline and thumping groove glue together this masterpiece in perfect style. 

On the flip side resides the equally breathtaking “From Now On” piece. Worakls focuses on a marching & moody feel, before breaking the track down, to only feature the gorgeously crafted strings and horns. He once again brings together the classical and dance worlds in an inimitable way, so they can flourish on dancefloors worldwide as well as everywhere else!

St Germain, whose albums Boulevard (1995) and Tourist (2000) originated a genre of French electronic music that later included artists like Air, has returned to the studio to create his first album in 15 years. The self-titled record marries percussive grooves, which have always been central to St Germain’s sound, with a new element: traditional Malian music. 

"Sittin' Here" features Guimba Kouyate on guitar and Nahawa Doumbia on vocals.

That love was called Mesut, the most amazing doner kebab shop in all the land. You see, at Mesut, they don't just give you one or two sauces, they give you THREE of the most mouth-watering sauces you've ever tasted. The tomato sauce is mild and tangy. The spicy sauce adds just the right amount of kick. And the garlic sauce brings the whole thing together. Depuis 2015 j’ai fais 162 concerts. A chaque concert je faisais des nouveaux morceaux improvisés. Alors quand l’inspi venait c’était stylé, puis quand l’inspi venait pas c’était naze. Mais comme l’inspi, elle prévient pas, dans les deux cas j’enregistrais. A la fin de la tournée, iTunes affichait 8,2 jours de son. Alors j’ai tout réécouté, les moments de merde je les ai laissé, les moments biens je les ai bossé. Et de fil en aiguille devinez ce qui est apparu : un album.

C’est le résultat d’un gros taff et en même temps c’est comme si ces morceaux avaient poussés tout seul
Ils sont tous composés et enregistrés en live, j’ai mis les infos dans les titres des morceaux, vous verrez ya des concerts où j’étais grave sous inspi et puis d’autres où y avait carrément rien à garder.
S’il y a autant de morceaux dans l’album c’est parce que c’est un album hors format (dans le cas où quelqu’un vous poserait la question)
Mais donc comme la plupart d’entre vous auront pas le temps de tout écouter j’ai demandé à des gens qui comptent pour moi ainsi qu’à des gens bons que j’ai rencontré sur la route, de digger dans la tracklist pour vous dire quel titre écouter en premier
