Als würde er lässig aus der Hüfte raus rund geschliffene Steine über die Oberfläche eines Waldsees hüpfen lassen, auf dem sich das Wolkenbild von sommerlichem Hochdruck-Wetter spiegelt: So natürlich, erdig und doch auch surreal und schwerelos klingen die Tracks, die Julian Schraven uns auf seiner Weird Feelings EP kredenzt. Das mächtige Konstrukt seiner Beats, Bässe und Rhythmen waltet mit minimalistischer Effizienz im Hintergrund und lässt damit ganz viel Platz für die wundersamen Gefühlsregungen und Sinnesverwirbelungen, die in Form von verschnörkelten Melodien und deepen, psychedlisch morphenden Klangstrukturen ihren Lauf nehmen. Timboletti erweist sich mit seinem feinperlig verpeilten Humor und seinem Hang zum Tiefgang als der perfekte Remixer für diese EP.
