This latest warbler is another perfect addition to any bass DJ’s selection.

The track itself goes by the name ‘Remember’, utilising a powerful vocal line in conjunction with cheek-slapping drum hits, gnarly subs and a precise set of processing techniques to get the mixdown pumping with almost instant impact. This is an original that is going to cause a large radius of damage, once again showing exactly why Damzy is rated so highly by those across the UK Bass scene.

With festival season well and truly upon us and the UK’s appetite for ferocious bass music growing stronger by the second, we are very excited to continue supplying the menu with scrumptious creations such as the one we have lined up for you next. We are absolutely buzzing to welcome the thunderous combination of both Spence and 1997, who have teamed up to unleash a behemoth bassy belter, taking the title ‘Break’.

This one works like a cascade of icy synthesiser designs being let loose to sizzle across a cliff-edge as bulbous LFO instrumentation and seriously well sharpened drum designs are laid down in a fearsome combo. The whole arrangement has a call and respond-like feel, giving the listener an insatiable appetite to move, making this a must have for any festival goer or performer this summer season.

It's safe to say that we live in a time in which Bass music is one of the most exciting genres across all of the world music, now picking up a serious amount of steam around the the US as well as the UK and Europe. When we say bass music, we don't mean EDM, we mean direct offshoots of the UK bass movement wherever they may be. This new release shows us just how exciting the LA scene is finding bass music and how much they are contributing to it also.

The collaboration that we are very excited to be premiering today comes to us from label founder MELAY, alongside long standing Low Freq LA resident CANDL. The pair clearly have a certain amount of chemistry, having collaborated in the past and really help kick start the label's movement. Their track entitled 'That Ass' is the perfect example of the sounds that Low Freq LA are looking to push, as they combine crunchy drum rhythms, low droning bass tones and a collection of well placed vocal samples in the lead up to a hard hitting breakdown. When we reach it, we are greeted with an array of sumptuous LFO movements, warbling away beneath more crunchy drum and vocal work.

Within the UK dance music scene, there are a few people who truly qualify for legend status. By this we mean artists and DJ's that have stayed at the top of the game for extended period of time. There aren't many people ahead of the legendary DJ Zinc in this field, a DJ and producer who has overseen so many different eras of dance music, from jungle to crack house, featuring everything in between. 

How thrilling for us it was therefore when we were made aware of a brand new album project on the way. We are here today to take a brief look at this new project, which comes in as the third edition of Zinc's legendary 'Crack House' series. 

We are gifted 10 absolute heaters, including high profile collaborations with the likes of President T and Kamakaze, two MC's that have been making serious waves. There is also a wicked collaboration with the highly respected Chris Lorenzo, which we are super excited to have on the 3000 Blog channel.

As we shuffle towards the end of 2019, we are now starting to see different labels and artists put together their yearly round up pieces and final drops before we move into what is set to be a dazzling 2020. It's been an amazing year for bass music as a whole, with numerous UK artists being flown out around the world to perform on some of the biggest global stages, as well as some of the strongest releases we have ever seen come out of the UK in general. 

We have also very much enjoyed the rise of a number of newer label projects, as we are firm believers that the arising of new projects keeps the big boys on their toes and also constantly injects new energies into a scene which if left unchecked, does have the potential to become a big stagnant. One of the labels we have loved to watch the progression of is Low Freqs, who have constantly supplied the bass scene with some incredible music over the course of the year, and they are back to finish up the year in style. 

Following on from three very popular previous editions, we are very happy to announce our involvement with the fourth compilation in the 'We Are Low Freqs' release series, as the team compile an absolutely storming line up as the perfect way to leave their final stamp on 2019 as a whole. They have assembled quite the roster for this one as they invite the sounds of Candl, Mike DFekt, Greed, Melay, TVU and a host of others to get involved in what truly is a top notch body of work.

Because of this we couldn't resist getting involved with an exclusive 3000 Blog premiere as we provide the official upload for Bean's contribution to the project, entitled 'Everytime'. As an overall composition, this one boasts everything, from the smooth, shimmering introdutory synthesisers and catchy vocal lines to the well thought, crispy bass tones and unpredictable arrangements of the breakdown. It's a tidy piece of work, and most certainly a highlight point of what is an overall fabulous release.
