As always here at The @3000network, we are looking to do things a little
bit different, as we now move into our latest remix EP, showcasing a selection of top quality reworks around NeryVice’s epic ‘Take On The World’ original.

Earlier in the year, this release was the talk of the town, which is why we decided to do something special when building this remix collection, in the form of a live remix competition, streamed out across our Facebook page with our resident review-master: KXVU in the hotseat.

From our submissions, he selected two top quality recreations to bring onto
the EP’s tracklisting, with Dynascope’s pungent, heavily processed 4x4 switch up and MKII’s breaksy beef up. As well as these, Arc Nade provides us with a sizzling, dance-floor ready rework, followed by Nekst & Re-Flex, who bring the track into a whole new realm with their reesey revamp. Finally, Neryvice himself returns for a highly energised VIP mix of the track to round off the tracklisting, making this one of our favourite full length projects we have released in a hot minute!

The VIP mix will be added to the EP once the original mix reaches 20,000 plays on Soundcloud.

Magness - Ring The Alarm [The 3000 Network Premiere]

As always, camp 3000 is constantly on an expansive hunt for colourful new bass music, with a pledge to cover and discuss everything within that spectrum. As said spectrum continues to grow however, we find more and more genres expanding and fusing to create exciting new sounds and we just can't get enough. Today our journey continues as we take a look at a brand new track from an exciting new artist by the name of Shadow Of Light. On a side-note, it's safe to say that our submissions inbox has never looked more varied or more exciting, and on that note, we want to say thank you to each and every one of you sending in music! 

This Chester-based producer has been showing bags of potential over the past few months, getting involved with as many musical activities as possible, including an involvement with Kiwi Rekords' most recent remix competition. The energy and enthusiasm we have seem from him so far is something we rate seriously highly, which is why we simply had to get involved on premiere duty for his new track 'Running Around'. 


This track as a whole is a great representation of where newschool garage is at in the UK, as we sit back to take in some summer-driven melodies and delightful vocal work. From start to finish, this is a tune designed to put a smile on the listeners face, as uplifting harmonic structures and washed across an array of exciting, high energy drum skips and sweet bass tones, giving the track an instantious appeal, especially if the good weather decides to make another apperance. 

It's a great example of utilizing the themes and popular sounds of the time to build something that whilst remaining pretty original, is also appealing to a wide range of listeners, drawing yet more people into the garage wave which is sweeping the nation.

As always, the team at The 3000 Network are keen to keep you up to date with the latest and greatest from across the realms of UK bass music and all of it's little nooks and crannies that populate the underground districts of different genres. 2020 has seen the general vibe of dance music in the UK switch to a much more garage influenced style of sound, with nearly every notable label slowly but surely moving further and further towards more syncopated rhythmic structure and vocal influenced creations within their release schedules.

Today we are joined once again by our friends at Steppers Club, one of the most exciting label projects we have seen arise out of the madness that 2020 has thrown up. In our eyes, it's one of the most encouraging things imaginable to see new projects springing up despite the woes of the world, especially when they have such an strong intent to supply the scene with top quality dance music. Their catalogue speaks for itself in our eyes, and to have such an established reputation to early into the label's lifespan is something we find incredibly impressive. We are getting involved today with an official 3000 Blog premiere as Zefer returns to the label to unleash a top quality two track drop, perfect for injecting uplifting vibes into any track listing.

Despite the fact the EP is made up of two top quality originals, we are today focussing in on our official premiere as Zefer is joined by Charlotte Meldrum for a throwback smasher by the name of 'Let Me Know'. If you were to describe a perfect blend of nostalgic garage elements with that 2020 twist, this would sit pretty much directly beneath the dictionary definition as wave after wave of groovy bass-weight and minimal melodic design joins forces with some groovy drum arrangement and throwback vocal manipulation to deliver showstopper.
