As we look to continue our lively start to 2022, we are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming back an absolute heavyweight to the table as Aspect returns to 3000 Deep for another system-melting two-tracker. This serves as the perfect follow up to ‘Leftie’, which premiered on 3000 Deep last year with a fantastic response.

This time around, Aspect takes a fabulous collection of global influences to kick off with an abstract bubbler by the name of ‘Delta’. Right from the jump this one exhales something a little bit different, from the tripletted drum stutters, crunchy percussive sweeps and booming sub textures below, culminating in an extremely original sounding creation. On the flip to this, we dive into a much more UKG inspired design as the floating pad textures and scattered drum slithers of ‘Are E’ completely switch the flavours around, giving us a groovy 2-stepping masterclass to enjoy.

The future looks very bright for Aspect, who has delivered a real firecracker with this pair of gems!

Nightflower Records Guest Mix #45 - Faded

For our next release on 3000 Deep we are thrilled to be unveiling a brand new EP drop, welcoming the charismatic sounds of Fer Shor inside for two tracks of dancefloor-ready dynamism.

We open up with the thunderous acid rain of ‘Don’t Stop’, which is driven forward by a bubbling batch of moogy bass action, sizzling away atop hardcore rave pianos and catchy vocal chops, giving the whole track a very lively feel indeed.

On the flip to this, we then get a second to take in the sounds of ‘Dancefloor’, an almost disco influenced sounding arrangement, stacked to the brim with luminous harmonic chimes and distant string slides. Both of these are very welcome additions to the 3000 Deep catalogue, boasting some serious dancefloor energy within!

On the abandoned playground, only the fence neon still flickers. Someone carved 6 / 14 / 161 into the wire. The city doesn’t sleep—it counts: a broken kick like boots in gravel, the snare laying down law on 2/4. Two 303s speak in turn—one low and stubborn, one sharp and toxic—like sirens through steel bays. No nostalgia, only forward drive; a red slash on the ground points one way. At bar 129 the breath stalls, then everything drops back into the dark.
