The new dirtybird compilation is loaded with 11 great tunes I have been collecting for over 6 months. Most notably, the Shiba San "OKAY" record has absolutely been destroying every dance floor known to man. We have lots of big birds like Justin Martin, Catz ‘N Dogz & Justin Jay on this, plus a ton of great newcomers and friends making appearances.

The dirtybird BBQ was founded as a small get together in Golden Gate Park thirteen years ago. We've had the same core line-ups and even the same chef, Grillson, since the beginning.  But three years ago, the free party in the park got too big and our permit was pulled.  The city of San Francisco could no longer handle the amount of people showing up to the event.  

Ever since then we have been trying to think of way to bring back the vibe of the BBQ park party. This year we finally put together a team that is able to take the BBQ party all across North America and Europe. We will be starting in Miami and ending in San Francisco so make sure to come grill and chill with us sometime this year. This compilation is a celebration of the O.G. dirtybird BBQ vibe.   I hope you enjoy the music.

After the fantastic reception that greeted his breakthrough house track, ‘Beat Junkie’ released on Black Butter Records, producer and DJ Lokate is set to build on his growing reputation with the September 21st release of the single ‘Flow’ on FFRR.

Featuring influential MC Doctor (who released the underground classic ‘Before Surgery’ mix CD and featured on Soundbwoy’s ‘Never Wanna Say Bye Bye’) as well as Bay-C (from dancehall legends T.O.K.), ‘Flow’ is a tough slice of dancehall infused House music.

Niteppl returns with a disco infused pop single that is truly out of this world. An artist who wears his influences on his sleeve, Alton San Giovanni AKA Niteppl has created a work which is truly genre defying and stands poised to be a classic record of our time. “Bloom” features the vocals of fellow Popganger Jordan Deherrera, as well as lyrics written by Chris Sanders, both of the ubiquitous live electronic group Manics. “Bloom” is a larger than life journey through disco infinity and a major step forward for the still blossoming narrative of Niteppl. “Bloom” is the first single to be released from Niteppl’s upcoming “Nu-Flesh EP” which is expected for release later this year on Popgang records.

Our second free EP of 2014 is ready to be unleashed, featuring sounds from five new producers to digest. First up, Guildford based Malice and his pal CORDUROiFS serve up a slice of weighty house with their track, 'Want To'.
Next week, Liverpool newcomers Truth Be Told will release their huge track 'Mr. Fuxx' on one of our favourite labels around at the moment, Roush, but just before then we have an exclusive of their weighty number 'Get Busy'. Keep an eye on these guys!

All the way from Hannover in Germany and a protégé of Billy Kenny, the hotly tipped Frederique drops his splendid track 'The Feel'.
Introducing one of our new signings to Fat! Records, Polish duo wants - who've earned big support from Paleman already this year - hit us with their very first track, Basic One. Keep a look out for their debut EP on Fat!, dropping later this summer!
Finally, closing out EP013 is Essex man 40Four with some grimey bassline!

This time around, we are thrilled to welcome back the combined sounds of DJ Pencil & The Cut Up Boys for a fiery new UKG collaboration by the name ‘The Unknown’.

As a combination this team up has become pretty notorious for their futuristic approach to new school garage, with this new single being a perfect example of that in action, fusing high energy introductions and breaksy drum-work with spacious pad textures and hard hitting sub bass floats, to deliver a truly euphoric display.

Being a breath of fresh air, we are greeted by a glittering display of stunning synth design and vibrant bass notation, glued together by tidy drum processing and a smooth vocal alignment, giving us one tasty dish.

It’s always exciting for us to make a return to the 3000 Deep platform, especially when a banger of this proportion is on display. We are therefore thrilled to welcome the enigmatic styles of WOLVERO to the table, touching down with a refreshing new techy roller, closing off our march catalogue in style.

Taking the title ‘Neon Lights’, this one gives us a truly original feel, fusing a vibrant collection of other-worldly vocal lines with gnarly sub belches, rolling drum lines and a generally eerie backdrop, giving us something very special indeed. WOLVERO has pulled it out the back with this one and we can’t wait to see what he has on display for the rest of 2024.

The ride continues to roll on here at 3000 Deep, as we explore further into the explosive realms of underground dance music with another smokey two tracker. This time, we see Murko touch down in dizzying form, exploring his more experimental side with two sizzling original UKG bubblers. 

First up, we hear the encapsulating subby slinks of ‘Let Me’, a sultry sweep through crunchy sub textures and unique drum processing, which through its originality and grooving bass notation, sets the tone perfectly. On the flip to this, ‘Boom Ting’ provides an amped up alternative, focussing heavily on hard hitting sub melodies and sharpened drum slaps, giving us a nicely balanced pairing to enjoy!
