Based out of Guildford, Mela has already contributed a slew of high profile, high octane 175 cuts to the ever-growing Monk discography and his latest effort, the lead track from this latest EP, is the pick of the bunch. 'LDN' builds on the success and frightening ferocity of 'Recognise' and the 'Valley Low' EP to create a sumptuous beast, led by Break-influenced drums and percs and a ruptured, seething bassline. It's a big comparison to make, but it's deservedly earnt here.
