The seemingly limitless manifestations that are observed during improvisational performance of electronic audiovisual materials drive me to seek collaborative interactions between compositional systems, machines, and myself. In holding space to facilitate an emergence of indeterminate phenomenon through analog synthesis, feedback systems, and field recordings, I share elements from multiple sources to celebrate shapes, patterns, and spaces.

I hold BAs in Art and English from Andrews University, and am currently enrolled in the Electronic Integrated Arts MFA at Alfred University. I was an artist in residency in 2017 at Signal Culture in Owego New York and in 2015 at Sachaqa Centro De ARTE, San Roque Peru. My visual works, and live electronic improvisational performances, have been featured across Peru, at The MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, and throughout the Midwest of America.
 
Note: Much of the work here is subtle in nature and I encourage you to listen via headphones or using a decent system whenever possible. Most computer speakers will not reveal the tracks fully. UNDERGROUND, they feed off the COUNTER-CULTURE, their minds have vast experi-MENTAL capacity, they search through the AVANT GARDEn, they DAMn the MAINSTREAM, and live the SURreal life. They are the “Dunning-Kruger” of their coterie. They are Illusional Engineers, Dystopian Spelunkers, Desolation Cartographers, Misanthropic Therapists, Pragmatic Escapists, Clinical Obscurists, Oxymoronic Magistrates, Elaborate Equivicators, Elevator Operators, Hallucinogenic Fungi Analysts, and Restroom Attendants, to name but a few prestigious occupations. Never underestimate the Yellow Salamand’r.

(Started making experimental music in ‘81 at 18 years old with circuit bent devices. 
Did some underground tape trading. Also made field recordings when working in a steel mill at night. (Lost all cassettes from that era.) Domestic life halted almost all artistic endeavours for many years. Along came 2013, and my world and technology had changed drastically. I started back into music using an iPhone and various technological detritus. I had shifted from lo-fi analog, to lo-fi digital. This is where I am still at nowadays. I can create unique experimental music, and yet still be satisfied with the outcome. I truly enjoy working with minimal equipment allowing me to be challenged by the limitations. (Inability is often the mother of restriction, and restriction is the great mother of inventive performance. - Holger Czukay) Even my visual art has gone from analog (painting, drawing) to digital collage. I don’t use AI and even though I think it will one day have it’s place in the art world, it just doesn’t align with my personal principles. Hey my name is Tim and I am an electronic musician based in Berlin, Germany.
I get inspiration from various genres of electronic music and try to combine these influences with my fascination for modular synthesis and music technology in general to create new atmospheric driven music.

I create original electronic, postpunk, and experiential music from my studio in Chicago. The Hard Times described my work as "creepy, haunted, but also a little bit uplifting." Prolific.

New Adventures in Sound Art (NAISA) is a Canadian non-profit organization that produces performances and installations spanning the entire spectrum of electroacoustic and experimental sound art. Included in its productions are: Deep Wireless, Sound Travels, Cross Waves and SOUNDplay.
