BASSKATEERS is a collective of selectas, producers & soundengineers for reggae, bass & offbeatmusic, spreading good vibes from Jena/Germany to the world, always promoting "LOVE'n'BASS".
Basskateers are also a Soundsystem based in Jena, Germany, playing different styles of Reggae- Dub- and Bassmusic - from conscious roots reggae to dub to heavy steppas to global bass and beyond. As producers of Dub music, residents in different clubs and events like "Dubliftment!", "D.N.A. -Dancehall Nice Again", "Dub I-Land" and "Immergruen goes Reggae" sessions, operators at the "BASSQUARTIER", many gigs on festivals like "FUSION FESTIVAL", "OUTLOOK FESTIVAL", "UPRISING FESTIVAL", "SERENDUBITY" and gigs abroad Basskateers are firmly rooted in the soundsystem scene.
Aim is to spread a message of faith and equal rights & justice all over the world, creatin' spaces of tolerance and respect, providin' soulful vibes to make you love'n'skank and to mash down Babylon with LOVE'n'BASS!

HISTORY:
In the beginning of 2010 RubADubStar a.k.a. Signore Sereno & Pubby Dubby a.k.a. Stevie D. thought and felt it is the right time to step musically forward. Both of them were deeply into music business for years, DJing, Music Productions, Mixing & Mastering, Promotion and the continual love for Offbeat & Bass-Music. So they put their strength together for a brand new project called “BASSKATEERS”. The most important thing for them is to spread the combination of righteous lyrics and high quality offbeat and bass to the audience.
To create a sound system vibe is always a main part of the Basskateers activity. RubADubStar a.k.a. Signore Sereno (a member of one of the oldest Reggae-sound from Jena and the whole state of Thuringia) and Puppy Dubby a.k.a. Stevie D. started this project in the autumn of 2010. M'Artagnan became part of the team as those three guys played and produced music together long time before Basskateers was started. M'Artagnan is the man behind the curtain, checkin' all the studio-stuff and producing the Basskateers music with Stevie D. Smilin' T joined Basskateers in 2011.
In 2018 a youngster hit the Basskateers with full energy & love and became part of the family, Tristan is the man behind Teakler Production and all the video productions so far.
MC Longfingah is joining the team anytime he's not on tour with his other projects. 



We're building our Soundsystem and producing fresh music inna BASSKATEERS style - that's what we call "LOVE'n'BASS" ;)
In our work the bass and the offbeat built the musical foundation. As DJs we incorporate Reggae, Dub, Steppas, Dubstep and many more styles into our Sets to open your hearts and shake your legs.
