New Swiss label Rababoo is proud to present his first release: Marcel de Sie! Oscillating between melodic industrial and shaky psychedelic music, Mr. de Sie overcomes his first 3 tracks with a static approach of electronic low drifts – in that sense, we decided to call it a soundtrack “to schuss'', in dedication to all our ski friends from here and there. The first 2 tracks, “Filter Seq'' and “Mezzo FM'' pitch the tone of the EP and are built as explorations of dance floor narratives, with the purpose to generate a wave state of mind through a real sound experience. While the first track is a relentless technoïd filter-driven smasher which immediately bleeps your mind and floods it with sound, the second track unleashes a cascade of sounds that brings any lost hiker back on track and drives him into a shamanic waltz in the mountains. 

The title track “Poetic Frame” is a direct response to these soundscapes, where howling, disturbing synths are at times chimera that fractures the pattern and calls you back to reality.

For his 1st release, Marcel de Sie is joined by Greek producer Anatolian Weapons (Dark Entries) and Belgian’s Victor de Roo (Stroom) for the remixes. Each one delivers a proper interpretation of the 3rd track of the EP “Poetic Frame”. While Anatolian Weapons explores a tribal trance sonic journey that can drive a Dervish dancer crazy, De Roo makes use of his distinguished style and creates the most abstracted version of this track. Not scared to apply kind of a trap snare ratcheting, he brings us to a space urban take.

Alexis Le-Tan and Tom Colebrook quite fluidly morph into our lazy initials: ALTC. Our current appreciation for an older psychedelic sound can be traced back to a dirty, careless and omnipotent period in the early 90’s when the sun, the Fridge Club or Space Tribe leggings brought our bodies together in time to these heroic sounds. Then it all sort of just wound down, more abruptly for some, and for a long time. But like old Smaug under the Lonely Mountain, we understood the longevity of gold. A few years just gone we embarked on a restlessly chaotic and passionate re-appraisal of our sonic past - just at a different speed. An ever growing archive and many edits later, we find ourselves still going; we are a happy and volatile little team, Mr. Le-Tan, who needs no introduction here, a Titan of this  slow sound - arguably the original, whose honed booth selections are regularly adorned by loyal crowds all over Europe. Mr. Colebrook, a flash in the pan veteran of the Goa scene, now mainly chief archivist and an Internal wordsmith of ill repute. 
There was a folder that existed in the archive called ‘The Socialists’ and over time as we pondered it, we began to understand the contents as taking on some sort of metaphor for a socialist arc of success and defeat, of growth and change, of hope and loss, of commitment and desertion, of lies and the truth, of battles and peace, emptiness and loss. Heroic themes indeed Comrades. As a musical selection, we wanted to imbue these metaphors with corresponding sonic inflections, sometimes we thought of sounds coming up through the ground to fight and be victorious or perhaps to lose, only to retreat and live another solitary day. Some were sounds for a moment of blissful morning sun soaked success, or the grey pulse of an imagined industrial trench. But above all - this selection of songs shows a commitment to each other and to the time and place they were made, and how they exist here - Now. We hope you enjoy the show!

The rickety old station didn't see much thoroughfair, in fact barely a soul had been seen on the platforms for years. Many had moved on from the surrounding villages, it had become a ghostly place with little around to keep inhabitants there. People never passed through here, there were no visitors or holiday-makers, but every now and then a mysterious train would appear; where it was headed nobody knew - a train to nowhere without a destination.

Subfield boss, DJ and producer Mugwump is back with a brand new album. Pneuma follows his previous long players Unspell and Drape, and builds on the slow, psychedelic sounds that make up his sound world. This time he aims the release more at the dance floor, mixing leftfield house, krautrock, dubbed-out disco and electro across the LP's 10 tracks. Mugwump's sardonic and alert lyrics take centre stage on the original cuts and the handful of covers, one of UK band Swing Out Sister and another from influential rock band Television’s Tom Verlaine, as well as a collab' with Berlin chamber music duo Ceeys.

Welcome back to Unreleased Territories.

We start 2021 with a bunch of tracks from all over the world. From Guatemala to Japan, we invite you to this musical trip through the depths of our archives which we are happy to unveil.

The voyage starts with floating, broken beats by our very own Jokios Kultūros. Then ИДА boss Kolomensky delivers downtempo masterpiece full of magic, which will teleport you to some exotic island, with a feeling of an upcoming storm. The Frankfurt slow vibe ambassador Tassilo, as always, delivers a dubby psychedelic track, full of subtle details. This tune is your express ticket directly to Neverland. Samo Records boss Facets invites you on an intriguing and mysterious adventure through synths and a deep bassline. Our dear friend and member of many great projects - Anton Berezin - will take you to a post-punk era with some not-so-cheesy synths. Up next is a dancefloor killer from Guatemala by Fabio Me Llaman Soltero - a mixture of arabic sounds and african drums with creepy vocals will definitely heat you up. Then an angry bassline prepared by Neud Photo during his Croatian vacations kicks so hard that it literally throws you into the medieval ages, close to the Adriatic sea and forces you to move. The massive banger by Auren advises you not to take candy from a stranger, to avoid unpleasant trips on dancefloors. A thumping, yet important message! With a track by Anastasia Zems we are moving into the jungle. The great levitating vocals and mystifying sounds invite you to discover your wild side as you move through the track as though jumping from one liana to the next. With their nostalgic, somewhat progressive house melody Anatolian Weapons guide you to the top of the Greek mountains. Try not to melt. Guitar riffs interweave with the sounds of bells to give this next classic disco track by Volta Cab a more metal sound. The rock influenced track by Wolfstream keeps your blood pressure up so you stay alive till the end of this adventure. The young talent from Kaunas – Pijus - associates himself mostly with lo-fi sounds. He jumps into our ship with a housy track, full of acid chords. Marco Lazovic knows best how to channel a melancholic mood with the help of music. Stop for a while and enjoy this moment of introspection. Broken Daiquiri by Adventure Society is a psychedelic cut which challenges you to push through and explore your dark side. Tadan, a Lithuanian based in London, dedicated his track to a skate park located in Ukraine. You can imagine yourself cruising cheekily through gavanpark while listening to it. The slowly rolling track by Shrimp Prince serves up a delicious sonic dinner from the bottom of the deep blue sea. The inscrutable and constant kick with the deep synths of Jelisejev Shedding Skin will surely plunge you into the foggy Fenland, the home of these misty sounds. Try not to get lost! Then, tribal elements and chaotic experimental sounds by Yuto Takei will grab you and zap you all the way into a Japanese rainforest. And for the last destination, all aboard the ship of our Italian friend - A-Tweed, his quirky track, boosted by Vittorio Gassman’s voice will show you the way through ancient Rome and to the finish line of this global adventure.

We really hope you enjoyed this musical trip through different parts of our magical planet. While we’re stuck inside during this crazy pandemic, we hope that our music has helped you to escape, at least in your minds and in your soul. Stay healthy and stay alive!
