Ramble is the debut LP on vinyl from electronic musician Sebastiano Carghini. An
ambient-no-ambient journey, his sound art unfolds like a fractured memory loop - 
where degraded tape hiss, layered textures, drifting echoes, and minimalist pulses
dissolve into a liminal, ever-shifting landscape of sonic perception. It is released by
adventurous electronic music label topo2 on July 25, 2025. The record is pressed on 180
grams of ICCS-certified minty-ice colored bio-vinyl, housed in a heavy full-colour
sleeve, and comes with a download-code to the full release. Mastering is done by Ike
Zwanikken, artwork by courtesy of Tjobo Kho, and poetry written by Eelco Couvreur.

Japanese sensation Mayurashka has arrived on Rhythm Section International !
We’ve long been fans of her hypnotic incantations that playfully subvert house and techno tropes to create wonderfully weird music that moves you.

Known for her delicate, subtly psychedelic approach to production - all subtlety is thrown out of the window on the opener, “Parents and God”. We are immediately confronted with a slamming Chicago house style beat in style of Mr Fingers at his most utilitarian. It slams, jerking in and out of tempo like Ron Hardy in beast mode.
Out of nowhere a soulful church organ arrives - at first for a brief respite - but then for an extended solo, which gives way to an 80s electro style breakdown before reverting back to form. It shouldn’t work, but somehow it does - to a dizzying extent - and heirin lies Mayurashka’s magic: a blatant disregard for norms and a deft touch that makes the unorthodox so compelling.

“Notango" takes another big left turn - sitting somewhere between tribal seance and rain dance, it’s mostly organic drums and otherworldly sound effects that combine to drag us deeper into the wormhole before “ Vat Murmur” takes us back into the light with its uptempo disco energy and giving way to heavy chugging bass. This one is equally for fans of idjut boys and Larry Levan.

The Ep rounds off with the title track “ LSI dreaming” - to try and describe it is almost impossible, but let’s say it starts of with a mid 2000s Perlon-era tech house energy before things quickly escalate beyond all recognition and then just hover with lysergic intensity. If I ever closed panorama bar, this is the track I’d end with.

Exclusive Stevie R & CERPINTXT 'Red Lemon (Man Power Edition)'

Stevie R teams up with vocalist CERPINTXT again to produce two original takes, 'Madilo' and 'Red Lemon', for Chapter 24's catalogue number 34, a vinyl only release. Aside from the two original tracks, 'Red Lemon' is remixed by Ed Davenport and Man Power. The latter reduces the original's groove to its acid line before introducing a bass being 1 minute 18 seconds into the track. Shortly after the Mexican-based producer takes a short break but only to prepare its listeners for the synth-pad melody that is either supported by the bass line, the acid bleeps or trippy textures solo or altogether throughout the track. Man Power plays with these musical ellipses in a James Joyce manner and emphasizes the elements taken from the Stevie R & CERPINTXT original take while rearranging, restructuring and reseting them to a divine remix that Joyce could not have written properly. 

Stevie R & CERPINTXT's EP 'Madilo' will be released September 21st, 2018 on Chapter 24.

Allying himself with the Egyptian poet and glitch producer CERPINTXT and Turkish singer/songwriter Djanan Turan, he delivered a wonderful LP. Now, through the Editions of Kincaid, Simple Symmetry and Martin Buttrich, the album is presented in a new light with a set of fresh and powerful remixes.
They do not disappoint. Londoner Kincaid (Aeon, Anjunadeep, Futureboogie) reimagines Botsa Botsa into a killer starry, widescreen slow disco cut powered by a hypnotic acid line. Meanwhile, Disco Halal heroes Simple Symmetry draw inspiration from rave-era Prodigy to create a reworking of Delias, which is equal parts incredible and insane. Dancefloor destruction is assured.
The package finishes with two versions of Gkii from the legendary Martin Buttrich, who draws on a classic and rolling deep house vibe for his glitch inspired Class A Edition, along with his Blib Dub. The days of rave are here again. Part I has fully delivered; watch out for Part II of Stevie R’s Melt Editions in the New Year.

Osunlade joins the party in his Yoruba Soul guise to offer a driving and sensual revision that emphasises a crunchy distorted arp line. Finally, Counterchange bossman Ed Davenport delivers a thumping twist of the original that’s equal parts pneumatic and aquatic.
The EP completed with two more reworks from Man Power and Ed Davenport, all three reworks hit the spot and are accompanied by the original to round off the package. With Melt {The Editions}: Part II, Chapter 24 mark the start of the decade and their five year anniversary with a memorable EP from one of their core artists. Stavros Potamitis (aka Stevie R) conjures emotion and weaves sonic tales by combining the rebetiko folk music of his Greek homeland with analogue electronics. Working with a range of collaborators he offers forward thinking, avant-garde music and daring, theatrical live performances that freely blend and cross over between musical styles. As well as being a musician, producer and performer, Stevie is a lecturer at Point Blank Music College in London, runs his own record label Inside Out Records and is A & R of Chapter 24 Records. Always looking to push musical and sonic boundaries, he is just as relentlessly focused on moving things forward in his own work as he is committed to supporting the next generations to break through.
