J.fernandez’s debut album “ Ashes of a phoenix “ is a show and tell of the young artist’s talent and versatility. This album was inspired through moments of pain, vulnerability, love and euphoria. Every song has a story of its own and will bring out emotions you forgot existed. Exactly how an album should be. if you’re looking for something raw, colorful and entertaining , then there is no need to look further. The title “ Ashes of a Phoenix “ came about when J.Fernandez was found over dosing after a long battle of drug abuse. If any of you know the story of the phoenix it represents “rebirth” or “reincarnation” . The Phoenix lives its life and then sets itself on fire and rises from its ashes , so you can understand the metaphor. After crashing and burning “ J. Fernandez “ made a vow to never go down that road again and to prove to himself and the rest of the world , what he can accomplish when he puts his heart and soul into it. Without the Love of his family and his closest friends this album might of never emerged and ” J ” might of not been with us today , yet here we are.
Without the years of the pain and the struggles and even his recent heartbreak , He stands today with his head held high and with a grateful attitude. We hope you enjoy this album as much as we did making it for you. welcome to the first chapter of our beautiful journey together.
