On November 26, I performed at "Sonic Playground", the first event of our label "Petite Victory Collective". It took place at Urban 13 in Copenhagen.

This event was special in more ways than one to me. For one thing, it was the first time ever that I was allowed to play in front of a larger audience abroad. What a feeling to see the crowd dancing to my sounds - a true magical moment. The atmosphere was great and I received great feedback after the performance. 

I celebrate this momentum I decided to release the performance! It’s now available for pre-order on Bandcamp: "Live In Copenhagen" features 6 tracks plus the entire performance mixed together. They represent in a way the return to my former „Dawless“ sound, which I had to adopt for re-creation with my new DAW setup.

Some tracks are coming from my favorite genre, Dubhouse. I love to play endlessly around with chords and atmospheres using reverb and delay. I added a lot of textures to these tracks, which is my second favorite musical thing to do. But there are also rather untypical dance sounds like on "Heavy Traffic".

About Ekstendia:

Ekstendia (real name Andrey Afanasiev) originally from the cold Murmansk in Russia. He's Passion and love for electronic music came in 1998, when Andrey first heard acid techno and acid trance tracks. Since 2000, He acted as only a vinyl DJ. Since 2002 he has actively participated in club life.Played on one stage with Burnski (James Burnham), Falko Brocksieper and other equally interesting DJs and producers. In 2012, together with his colleague Mød, created a project Aima, that's promoting dark industrial techno sound then In 2015 Andrey created the project Ekstendia, that focused on deep dub sound and which today is the main genre.

What about Roland Handrick?

He was born in 1983 and started listening to music at a young age. He first heard techno music when he was 9-10 years old during trips to Germany where his mother's family lived. Chris Liebing and Anja Schneider's radio shows inspired the start of his musical journey, with the exposure to electronic music ranging from techno to d'n'b and breakbeat leading to the development of his musical self. Collecting DJ mixes, compilations, and tracks in various genres paved the way for his DJ and music career. In 2000, he began collecting vinyl, bought turntables and a mixer, and started learning how to mix tracks. For the first few years, he played at small pubs and clubs in his hometown before organizing parties with a friend. By booking top techno and house DJs, he warmed up the crowd for these artists. In 2004, he received an invitation to play at Ablak a Dubra party in Budapest and, a year later, joined the Hairy crew. Thereafter, he played at most of Budapest's music clubs alongside Hungarian and international artists. He frequently performs at electronic music festivals in Hungary and has played in Romania and Germany. He has a residency in Budapest at Aether club with his old friend and colleague Roocha, and in summer, he plays rooftop sessions for deeper house sounds. He is proud to have joined the Ozora festival as an artist since 2014 and also hosts a radio show on Radiozora thanks to Tsubi.

Alexander Shvoev is a resident and one of the founders of the Techenie label. He started DJing and music production in the first half of the 2000s. Originally from the Siberian town of Krasnoyarsk.
