Based in Berlin, DJ, curator, queer-activist, Ipek Ipekcioglu produces an extraordinary warm, dynamic and organic interpretation of electronic music melted with the melodramatic sound of Anatolia/Mesopotamia, Turkey, Orient & the Middle East. 
Ipek Ipekcioglu received German Record Critics' Award for her Beyond Istanbul Albums @ Trikont and was named as a musical and political "visionary" by the Süddeutsche Zeitung. and cited as a representative for “ideologically blinker-free living” by Rolling Stone Magazine. 
The socialy- critical minded producer is an activist and member of female: pressure network and has a strong social-critical agenda related to women, immigrant, queer and gender topics which she transports into her productions. Ipek has been pushing boundaries within the ethnic & electronic music scene and communities for over two decades. This vibrant mix and her work have earned her a place as “one of Berlin’s most important cultural contributors” [Zitty Magazine]. She proudly carries the title of "MC of cross-cultural understanding" (Daniel Bax - TAZ).
Ipek has performed at Glastonburry, Fusion, Sziget, Garbicz, At. tension, Ms Dockville, Womex and many more international electronic and world music festivals from New York City, Beirut, Erbil, Yerevan, Marseille, Los Angeles, Salvador de Bahia, Cairo, Sana’a, Istanbul, Seoul, Novosibirsk to the desert Sahara of Mali, developing an exclusive brand name with her unique & hybrid Sound mix. She has toured throughout, China, Siberia, Japan and the US.

Sabo’s music is a journey into sound, a sonic landscape that crosses several musical borders with mixtures of tropical poly-rhythms, warm bass frequencies, rich percussion, lush tribal vocals, and smooth organic textures. When listening you will undoubtedly find yourself resonating with his intention, imagining yourself dancing in an Amazon rainforest, on a moonlit Tropical beach,  or on a desert plane for a Saharan sunrise. Behind the decks, his innovative approach to each DJ set makes him a consistent stand out at festivals like Burning Man, Coachella, Lightening in a Bottle, Shambhala, Fusion, Symbiosis, and Further Future. He is also the label boss of “Sol*Selectas Records” which is successfully re-defining a new vein of dance music. It was the Top 10 Best Selling Deep House label on Beatport in 2016 and 2017, several #1 release in 2018 til present, and with every release breaking into the Top 10 charts of their respective genres. Archaeological evidence from prehistoric times suggests that the Earth was once viewed as a living, female being. Ancient texts and mythologies support the idea of a female deity associated with the earth and all life. The Phyrigian Earth Mother Kybele was one such figure among many and represented the earth, mountains, caverns, and all nature, the birth of humanity, the universe and everything in it. 

Inspired by this timeless and universal vision, this project is dedicated to featuring and celebrating the bounty and beauty of the creative works of women in music through special podcasts, original releases, and mixtapes curated by women producers, DJs, and musicians of a wide range of genres from around the world. 

In addition to highlighting the works of women in music, Kybele develops opportunities for broader inclusion of and greater collaboration among emerging and established artists  of all backgrounds through the "Friends of Kybele" series.

Having been one of the pioneers in Istanbul’s burgeoning club scene during the late 90’s, Macit has seen his home city flourish with music and love. Besides becoming a cornerstone in making Istanbul a mecca for European clubbers, he also contributed a great deal of production work releasing on labels like Apparel, Vibe Me, Sound Architecture, Cumpa Limited and Tanzbar to name a few. Having been relocated to Florence, Italy he introduced his eastern infused beats to a wider audience in Europe. Currently based in UK, you may catch Macit in hip clubs of London such as Annabel's, Sexy Fish, Park Chinois, Ivy’s.

Aslı is a versatile musician and DJ, known for her ability to seamlessly blend different genres and live performance elements. With a foundation in classical music (majoring in cello), she transitioned into the electronic scene by founding the electro-pop band BonMod, where she released an album, an EP, and performed over 100 concerts in Turkey and abroad.

Since 2012, Aslı has built a reputation as a solo DJ and producer, captivating audiences with her dynamic, story-driven sets that merge live vocals, live instrumentation, and diverse house genres. Her sound moves fluidly between deep, emotional melodies and high-energy grooves, creating an immersive experience on the dance floor. She has released music on labels like Bercana Music, Cafe De Anatolia, and Mousike, with her recent collaboration featuring renowned trumpet artist Tolga Bilgin.

In 2018, Aslı introduced her live project “Alem-i Adastra,” combining ethnic and minimal themes with live instrumentation. Her 2020 single “Kıskanç” became a hit, surpassing one million streams, and led to the release of her 8-track album Gods on Bercana Records. In 2022, she collaborated with Xinobi on the single “Basa Bela,” released through Discotexas, further showcasing her range as a multifaceted artist who thrives on blending genres and performance styles into her music.
