The set begins with a slow, atmospheric build-up, using sounds of bird calls, crickets, and the occasional gator growl to evoke the stillness and mystery of the swamp at night. As the set progresses, the tempo gradually increases and the rhythm becomes more persistent, like the pulse of the swamp itself. The tracks are characterized by tight, repetitive beats, minimalist synth lines, and a sparse use of vocals, allowing the swamp sounds to take center stage.

As the set reaches its peak, the music takes on a more driving, energetic feel, with the sounds of the swamp growing more intense and the beats more relentless, evoking the raw power and energy of the swamp in full flood.

Throughout the set, the DJ expertly blends together tracks from minimal techno pioneers with more experimental and avant-garde sounds from contemporary producers.

The set ends with a gradual slow down, returning to the mysterious atmosphere of the swamp at night, before finally fading out to the sounds of the swamp coming to life once again.

Deadly Swamp Minimal Techno Mix

This mix is made specifically for Chakra meditation. The tracks have been selected for their resonance with, or between, our body's primary energy centres - Chakra's. The journey starts out with Modv's Mayfield Pt.2 low frequency textures to awaken our Muladhara (at the base of spine) before moving through 11 more tracks that snake and expand their way through the Svadhishthana (root of our sexual organs), Manipura (solar plexus), Anahata (heart), Vishuddha (throat), Ajna (third eye), culminating at the Sahasrara (crown) with Fook Yue's Uncanny Valley. It's a 67 minute journey and its designed to guide a Chakra meditation in both a lying down position or through dancing.
