Orly Gal’s musical knowledge is deeply rooted in her past. Born from a family of classical musicians and raised with ambitions to achieve greatness. Her love for sound is deeply ingrained in her soul. Her grandfather was a professional violinist performing with the National Symphony Orchestra in Mexico and through natural osmosis, it seemed only fitting that her passion for playing instruments would inevitably follow. Her love for music would go beyond the practical implementations and traverse into the production world.

Over the span of a decade, GAL would play a part in several indie rock bands expanding her breadth of instrumental knowledge to the piano, drums, keyboard, and practically anything else she could get her hands on. GAL spent many years traveling and touring as a musician but her first introduction to DJing came during her time in Chicago. A close friend introduced her to the art form and she began mixing some of her favorite rock tracks as a starting point.

The influences of Chicago’s storied House culture soon took hold and her track-lists would eventually evolve into the 4/4 rhythms. Trips to Miami and Los Angeles further expanded her horizons and GAL began developing her own sound and style landing heavily on the deep electronic vibes of the Techno and Tech House movements.

Currently residing in Downtown Los Angeles GAL has established herself as a professional Electronic Music Producer, DJ, Musician and the Founder and Host of Frequently Mentioned LA - FMLA, a Media channel dedicated to showcasing the party series and music labels that make up the LA Scene.

New York's very own VlaD Underground delivers today's 6AM Guest Mix.

Known for experimenting with the most current underground dance music, VlaD Underground does not fail to deliver some of the more interesting deep techno DJ sets while performing and in today's guest mix. Filled with versatility and an organic sound, VlaD prides himself on being a multifaceted DJ spinning anything from house, deep house, tech house to techno. His 6AM Guest Mix is no exception, bringing you from pounding techno to bopping house and everything in between.

By adapting and learning DJ techniques from some of the today's most revered dance music DJs from Loco Dice and Marco Carola to Dubfire and Richie Hawtin, VlaD created his own style utilizing interesting mixing techniques and effects. Incorporating guitar pedals, drum machines and sound synths, he will take you on a musical trip full of surprises.

From Long Island, New York, VlaD is one of the pioneers incorporating the dance music scene into the island. Starting some of his first residencies this summer, he will help expand the grounds of dance music to new places.

Emilio Tarter, known professionally as tarter, is a Brazilian DJ with a passion for putting his home country on the map for within the dance music industry. With early support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, tarter is showcasing to the world just what a monumental dance music powerhouse Brazil really is. His 6AM Guest Mix is a journey through his latest discoveries.

With the purpose of always trying to do more for his local scene, tarter currently leads an online mentoring project that assists in the artistic development of many Brazilian DJs and producers. Driven by love – both to music and to his fiancee Nicole – the couple also founded Createch Records, a label that uses creativity and technology as a basis to make room for the mentoring students.

Bart Takuski (Lowki), a Poland born but now native Chicagoan, is a DJ with his roots firmly connected with the underground sounds of the city. Lowki got his humble start as a resident DJ with local promoters House of Chi, playing opening sets laced with deep cuts inspired heavily by the likes of Mark Farina, Martin Dawson, and Omar S at some of the cities most iconic venues. Most notably opening up for such artists as Dennis Ferrer, Subb-An, Robert Hood, and George Fitzgerald. Nowadays, Lowki has one foot in the realm of booking underground events with his close friends under Obscure, focusing on invigorating the local underground scene, with another foot diving deep into the sounds of deep and dub-techno.

Das warme Wasser benetzt plätschernd meine Haut und Haare. Gleichmäßig und mit sanftem Druck laufen die Tropfen aus der Brause. Ich stehe unter der Regendusche und freue mich darüber wie ein kleines Kind an Weihnachten. In diesem feuchtwarmen Refugium gibt es nur mich, dass Wasser und meine Gedanken. Sie kreisen durch meine Hirnwindungen wie das H2O durch die Kupferrohre. Ich lasse den heutigen Tag Revue passieren. Was ist mir alles widerfahren? War ich besonders, produktiv, innovativ oder habe etwas besonderes gelernt? 
Alles in allem verlief alles ganz normal. Ein typischer Donnerstag im Homeoffice Lockdown. Während mir das Wasser sprudelnd über die Schultern rinnt, grüble ich weiter vor mich hin. Wann ist mir denn das letzte Mal etwas besonders aufregendes oder spannendes passiert ... Ich weiß nicht, ist auf jeden Fall schon ein bisschen her. Schon schade. Ich vermisse die actiongeladenen Wochenenden und regelmäßigen Unternehmungen mit Freunden. Doch jetzt hier unter Dusche ist es mir beinah einerlei. Es fehlt mir ja an nichts, aber es könnte besser sein. Doch kann es das nicht eigentlich immer? In Summe geht es mir auf jeden Fall gut.
