Her voice is unmistakable and her presence is undeniable: Nicole Moudaber is one of the most passionately followed techno DJ and producers in the world. Casting dark dance floor spells, she’s been keeping crowds entranced for more than 10 years.

An event promoter, label founder, radio host, philanthropist and fashion icon. Ask anyone and they’ll say Nicole Moudaber is a MOOD. She’s been letting her hair down in LA and soaking up the West Coast vibes. We recently caught with her ahead of her festival appearance at Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland on August 27. Nicole gives a raw look at the power of solitude and why being alone is important to help you tap into a deeper sense of self and energy.

Born in Detroit, techno would not be what it is today without this DJ and producer’s relentless music spirit. His music bridges time and space playing into his love of the galaxy: soft synths, brushed hi-hats & intergalactic bleeps, clicks and bells. Underground Resistance founder Jeff Mills always stays looking forward. 

Celebrating 30 years of Axis Records, his new project Mind Power, Mind Control examines the art of mental persuasion and our mind’s vulnerability in this day and age. We chatted about his inspiration behind the album, some of the roadblocks within the electronic music industry, and why it’s important to find your “why.”

An instantly recognizable DJ with his unique style and a one-of-a-kind beard, Will Clarke has solidified his place in dance music starting from his wildly successful Dirty Bird roots and going onto releasing on other highly esteemed labels such as Factory 93, Drumcode, We Are the Brave and more. With all those under his belt,  Clarke has played massive festivals all around the world and now has his own creative imprint, “All We Have Is Now”. In 2020, he launched his own podcast called “The Will Clarke Podcast” featuring athletes, chefs, music industry figures, and fellow artists. Will Clarke was gracious enough to take time during his international performance schedule to talk to 6AM about his work discipline, past influences and current personal goals.

My essential mix was created with a sunrise set on the robot heart bus in mind out at Burning man, 2015. I played the actual set at BM pretty much the same time this mix was broadcast on Radio one.
