Thomas and Tassilo are two brothers from another mother,  better known as the Berlin-based techno duo Pan-Pot these two have been attached at the hip since meeting in their early 20s. 

They’ve released two albums, a compilation series for Mobilee and have quite an extensive back-catalog of EPs. Ahead of their first EP of the year on their label Second State Audio titled 'Voodoo Signs', we chatted about the cultural evolution of dance music as well as why having a “do whatever it takes” attitude is important for growth and how it’s helped them achieve success.

Dubfire really needs little in the way of introduction, but for the uninitiated, the hugely prolific DJ & producer has been at the forefront of the electronic scene since the earliest days.  As one half of house music titans Deep Dish, through to his more techno focused career as Dubfire, huge singles like ‘Ribcage’ and ‘Roadkill’, and his own SCI+TEC label, the Iranian born artist has more than left his mark on the dance music scene.

‘Sound Bath’ drops on Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label and illustrates the resolute sounds that Dubfire has become revered for.  A minimal and stripped back production keeps active with metallic and fissured tones, as an ever-present percussive loop anchors this impressive club cut, where the ‘less if more’ ethic is deployed auspiciously.

Rising star, Sophia Saze, has been impressing with her productions and remixes for labels such as Tresor, Counterchange and Krill Music, and her take on ‘Sound Bath’ centres on the addition of an arpeggiated synth line and acid pulses that really ramp up the energy levels!

Anya is an international DJ who was born in Russia, grew up in the United States and now lives in San Diego. Through her DJ career, she has been known to play many different styles of electronic music, including high energy dark techno, deep progressive, dark psytrance subgenres, and IDM/experimental. 

She spent over a decade as an international touring DJ, an accomplished organizer in the Boston underground electronic scene, logistics specialist for festivals (5K+ attendees) across Europe, booking agent and artist manager internationally... Anya has done it all! 

Now in her 15th year, she is a rogue wolf that's busy slayin' the dance floor with dark techno on at least 3 turntables. 

Her legacy affiliations include Psynon Records (label DJ), Damaru Records (label DJ), Banyan Records (label DJ), Transitions Agency (booking agent), Sonic Beating/Psyforia (booker, finance, promoter, resident DJ), and Fractaltribe (resident DJ, artist manager, ecological manager).

She has played various events & festivals in major cities in US & is an OG Burning Man veteran DJ. She has performed festivals and clubs in Italy, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Bulgaria, Russia, France, Canada, Morocco, Panama, Guatemala, Bolivia, Spain, Czech Rep, Croatia, Portugal, Peru and more... Anya has been a featured guest on web and regular radio stations, contributing to local programming on WZBC 90.3FM Boston as well as a variety of Greek, German and Indian web radio stations.

Her voice is unmistakable and her presence is undeniable: Nicole Moudaber is one of the most passionately followed techno DJ and producers in the world. Casting dark dance floor spells, she’s been keeping crowds entranced for more than 10 years.

An event promoter, label founder, radio host, philanthropist and fashion icon. Ask anyone and they’ll say Nicole Moudaber is a MOOD. She’s been letting her hair down in LA and soaking up the West Coast vibes. We recently caught with her ahead of her festival appearance at Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland on August 27. Nicole gives a raw look at the power of solitude and why being alone is important to help you tap into a deeper sense of self and energy.

His music bridges time and space playing into his love of the galaxy: soft synths, brushed hi-hats & intergalactic bleeps, clicks and bells. Underground Resistance founder Jeff Mills always stays looking forward. 

Celebrating 30 years of Axis Records, his new project Mind Power, Mind Control examines the art of mental persuasion and our mind’s vulnerability in this day and age. We chatted about his inspiration behind the album, some of the roadblocks within the electronic music industry, and why it’s important to find your “why.”
