Many know her as the first female Palestinian DJ, Sama’ Abdulhadi is a techno rebel with a cause. Proud of her heritage, ever since a young age the DJ and producer felt an obligation to her country. Not only has she become a face of the emerging electronic music and experimental techno scene in the Middle East, but she’s also creating opportunities for others. 

We chatted about why she keeps pushing boundaries with music, her out-of-body experience during her b2b with Nicole Moudaber, and why it’s important to give it your best every single time.

Etcetra is a Lebanese DJ and producer shaping the sound of the Middle East’s underground techno scene.
Based in Beirut, he has performed at some of the country’s most iconic venues, including B018, Recess, and Moon Republic. Known for his dark, hypnotic, and trippy sound, Etcetra has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as Sama’ Abdulhadi, and has opened for acts like Ege Saglam and Kim Sane.

As a producer, Etcetra’s work is equally compelling. His two releases on Dark Face Recordings received remixes by minimal techno heavyweights Gaga & Mateo, both earning spots on the Beatport Techno Top 100 chart.

Driven by a deep connection to sound and an uncompromising artistic vision, Etcetra continues to push boundaries, bringing a seductive, immersive energy to every set and release.
