VARIA is pleased to present the next episode in its podcast series, featuring GCOD.

Hailing from Zürich, Switzerland, GCOD is an electronic music artist whose hypnotic yet powerful sound has positioned him as one of the city’s rising talents. 

Since his debut in 2023, he has released on respected labels including Bipolar Disorder Records, Grab the Groove, and Ri7mo, steadily carving out a place in the international scene. 

On stage, GCOD has showcased his versatility behind the decks at acclaimed clubs such as Hive, Exil, and Elysia, while also bringing his music abroad, most notably with a summer stint in Tokyo in 2023. 

In addition to his solo work, he is a core member of ZIMA Blue, Zürich’s notorious DJ trio celebrated for their raw energy and unique collective identity.

This episode continues VARIA’s mission: championing considered electronic expression and lasting artistry.

Linked to the respected Italian online publication, Tech Clubbers launches TC Records with a huge VA of established artists, event residents, and upcoming talent.

'Escape Route Vol. 1' is a 13-track compilation of varying analogue styles that welcomes artists from countries including Germany, Hungary, Italy, Ukraine, Ireland, and Spain.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Setthe Jack" with a ripping, uptempo jam. The raw, looping vocal, gritty drums and crunching percussion are pierced by synth stabs, and atmospheric bleeps to hit peaks of ultimate tension and crescendo in this absolute rocket.

Slam continue to up their momentum with the first EP since their massive new album Dark Channel. Once again, the sole focus being straight up techno, designed for the dance floor, as they drop the 3 track ‘Wave Tension EP’. Never content to remain stationary, the latest EP has the duo in fine form as they drive to evolve the contemporary techno sound.

Title track 'Wave Tension' is a relentless, driven opener as slightly distorting synths mutate throughout the track pursued by Slam’s ever distinctive rhythms. 'Lost Pattern' continues in hard hitting fashion with alarm-like synths pushing the intensity before 'Violence' closes out the EP with warping and viscous dynamics that create propulsive atmospherics.
