Check out rising techno artist Joshua Calleja's newest EP "Saint of Revenge" premiere on 6AM. Hailing from the Mediterranean island nation of Malta, Calleja is certainly repping the small, but local scene of techno artists putting their mark on the global stage. Producing & performing since he was 14 years old, Calleja's productions captivate with a groovy and deep sound combined with influences from certain tech house and minimal sub genres.

Calleja enjoys creating a unique mixture of minimalism and club techno, meaning his audience is far-reaching. He has released on labels such as Innocent Music, Patent Skillz, Panterre Musique, Egothermia, Tentacles Recordings, HardCutz, Toowls, Roovestar, and now, Northern Parallels.

Calleja's hypnotic techno track "Fear of Time" gets a somber remix from Gabriella Vergilov, while the titular track "Saint of Revenge" gets an upbeat dancefloor treatment from Mike Derer.

The young rising techno stars Bleur & MB1 delivered their project for the label after releasing on big imprints such as Pan Pot’s Second State, Odd Recordings, Set About, the legendary Planet Rhythm and many more to come.

The Greek techno duo continues to impress with every release, showcasing a RAW Dark and Loud Techno sound that doesn't just follow popular trends and “Satira” together with “Sexiest and Suspense”, confirms it.

Active in Istanbul’s techno scene since the mid 90’s, Procombo holds a residency at Radio 2019, as well as heading up RX Recordings, an offshoot of the vital RX Istanbul club in the city. Arriving for the first time on Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects Label this September, the DJ/producer delivers three stomping originals, backed with a blinding remix from Steve Rachmad’s Sterac alias.

‘Glow’ leads the release, opening with rattling percussion atop a thumping 4/4 pattern before hypnotic tones carry the track late into the night. ‘Chi-Town’ brings weighty low end, chopped up vocals, and gritty drum slices to the forefront, with soft pads drifting effortlessly throughout. Title cut ‘Orpheus’ brings the tempo down slightly as a trippy barrage of bleeps and clever automation drives the arrangement, before Sterac’s remix sees Rachmad apply a brush of the psychedelic to the mix, delivering a dense yet minimal piece to close out the EP.
