Tampa/St. Petersburg techno artist Bonnie Sue delivers today's Guest Mix.

Bonnie Sue, originally from Dominican Republic, DJ, and creator, was surrounded by music as young as 17 years old when she was the lead singer of a Punk Rock band. Later, in 2013 she discovered the art of 
DJing, performing around her home country of the Dominican Republic. 

While in the DR, she caught the attention of one of the country's most successful promoters Carlos Coll aka Raputan, who began booking her to perform alongside some of Techno's biggest names. With this experience and Carlos' belief in her talents, she saw herself playing alongside such names as Dani Sbert, Spektre, Samuel L Session, Alex Young, and Irregular Synth to name a few. 

From there, her journey led her to the United States in 2015, where she caught the attention of Tampa Bay event promoter t3chn0 Faction and became the main resident of Morph Nightclub formerly located in St Petersburg FL, USA where she has shared the booth with acclaimed artists such as Kaiserdisco, Adriana Lopez, Keith Carnal, Tapefeed, Desna, and Julia Govor in 2019, as well as an opening set for 999999999 in the same year. More recently in 2021 she caught the attention of Fader Events where she became a resident, and since then she has shared booths with Julia Govor once again on February 12th of 2021 and Deraout on March 19th of 2021.

Alex Dolby has reached the coveted ground of over 15 years of releasing music and seen his high pedigree of creations landing on labels ranging from Global Underground, John Digweed’s Bedrock, to more recently Emmanuel’s ARTS.

Development and experimentation are the main influences in his sound as Alex has firmly settled on creating expressive techno. A deep love for analogue sounds, rough textures and tough rhythms are accompanied by dystopian aesthetics. A clear focus on functional club weaponry is wrapped up in his productions to pay homage to the dance floors he draws so much inspiration from.

Second State recording artist Wigbert steps up for the 277th edition of Global Vibe Radio

An artist’s journey is one of constant reinvention and the one thing consistent is constant change. The story of German Producer | DJ – Wigbert is one of evolution and growth, creating a bold fusion of his influences and an innovative imagination.

Our siblings are often our greatest influences growing up and in Wigbert’s instance; it was his older brother that led him to the Underground.

Over the years, Wigbert went on to find his own style amongst the many genres and still thirsted for more. DJing wasn’t enough for him now and he had to express the music he heard inside so he decided to start producing in the early 2000s, which brought him seemingly immediate success.

Over the last decade, Wigbert has finely tuned his craft and his techno sound has become sought after and supported by huge names in the industry. Because of his perpetual support from Dubfire and Pan-Pot, and Wigbert’s affiliation with Sci+Tec and Pan-Pot, he has been able to remix for Pan-Pot, Gregor Tresher and the requests keep coming in.

What makes Wigbert special?

The music Wigbert creates has both equal parts of analogue machines and human input. In a sense, he while producing, Wigbert becomes a ‘human machine’ by becoming one with his technological tools at hand. His drive to create organic sound flows though the final products. These are energetic, explorative, authentic and fresh as Wigbert encapsulates all elements of pure, true sound.

Rather than have a structured production process while in the studio, Wigbert allows his human experiences and imagination roam free with the machines he uses. He opens himself up to what the machines communicate in return and then channels it, just so. “Music is a infinite journey, mysterious and never ending.” he says. His time is spent exploring new auditory avenues in his sonic haven.

From here, we can expect to continue to see and hear from Wigbert long into the future. For those looking for unique, emotional, musical deliveries with pristine quality, Wigbert delivers every time.

Uakoz is a techno DJ and producer now based in London, but originally born and raised in Italy. 

Developing strong passion for music from a very early age, the Italian started self-teaching himself how to play drum machines and exploring free music software after being hypnotized to Techno and Minimal beats. 

Having built music production skills in his hometown, in 2011 he decided to join SAE institute in Milan, completing the course with good results.

With a full set of new skills acquired through both studying and playing his very first international gigs, Uakoz moved to London (where he has been based since 2013) to pursue his dream of developing his music carrier and broaden his musical perceptions.

His productions got the attention of many in particular of the well-known duo, Pig&Dan, who decided to get his productions released in their own imprint, Elevate. After 2 following EPs on the label, where his track "Disappeared’’ got subsequently licensed to "Live In Tokyo’’ CD compilation by John Digweed on Bedrock Rec, label bosses decided to get him to remix their own tune called "On The Way To Holland’’ making him a regular on the label.

He got the absolute honor to get one of his track on the exclusive "27 Years of Space Ibiza’’ CD compilation mixed by Pig&Dan alongside Carl Cox and Mark Brown, The compilation featrued tracks from artists such as Nicole Moudaber, Julian Jeweil, Luca Agnelli, Nic Fanciulli, Jon Rundell, Carlo Lio and many more.

Now signed on Planet Rhythm, KMS, Riot, Prospect Records, OFF Recordings, Respekt Recordings. remixing and remixed from big names in the scene like Dubspeeka, Loco & Jam, Ramon Tapia, The Yellowheads, Hollen, Gallya, Balthazar & Jackrock, Dj Jock, Andre Crom, Angy Kore, Agent Orange and more

He has proven his skills behind the decks with performances around the world in cities like Bahrain, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Nantes, Split and many more.

Joe makes experimental and brooding electronic statements. Born and raised just outside Detroit, and a classically trained musician, he has been diving into the chasm of fresh unfounded territory, while respecting his roots and interest in heavier music. His earlier work was recognized by the Detroit-based record label Blank Code, and he subsequently has done performances and released music in their catalog. Sousa aims to convey the dissonance that makes electronic waves writhe the body.
