About AmaG(Brazil):

Robson Gama is the man behind an artistic name AmaG. A dj and dub electronic music producer whose productions are consistently based on deep atmospheric and hypnotic chords of dub techno. Born and raised in Santos, which is a major coastal sea port city in the southern Brazil's São Paulo state. 
The main essence of his presentations is the versatility in mixing, transcending a sound journey.

Now residing in Los Angeles by way of Chicago, house music duo Mostly Magic deliver a vinyl-only mix for this week's episode of Global Vibe Radio.

Mike Miraldi and Jordan Bernardo's musical roots run deep, and can be traced back to their years spent in Chicago.  It is no surprise, given the city’s rich history with House Music, that the two took their passion for the genre's deeper sounds and co-founded @tphsound (The Pool House) in 2012. What began as a successful event series in the city's underground club circuit turned into a record label, while Mike and Jordan continued to dive into music production as solo artists.  

Having relocated to Los Angeles, they’ve joined forces as Mostly Magic. So far in 2021 they’ve released their debut "9 Muses" EP on one of LA's most respected imprints, Culprit, with a follow-up track on the most recent Culprit VA and another single just released on Farris Wheel Recordings. With years of experience behind the decks and in the studio, this is just the beginning of what promises to be a long journey for Mostly Magic.

There is an ongoing debate about whether the traits that human beings carry through life are determined at birth as a result of genetic inheritance, or whether we are manifested because of the environment in which we are raised. Making a brief analysis of the history of Lucas Bittencourt and Ricky Raimundi, the duo behind The Primitive Soul, it is possible to say that their stories were catalyzed by the environment where they lived and they grew: the coast of Santa Catarina, more precisely in Balneário Camboriú. 

Individually they already have almost a decade of performing with music production and DJing, but the real turnaround happened even in 2015 when they decided to continue their artistic careers side by side, as a duo. They then mixed influences, references, experiences and ideas, shaping your current sound identity, a sphere that mainly covers the Melodic and Techno, originating from warm nights experienced at Warung Beach Club. 

The first results started to appear in late 2018, when they released “Deep In The Ocean ”, a debut EP signed by an independent British record label, GNE Music. Then they produced another EP, “Je T’Aime”, released by IN2U Records and, at the end of 2019, starred in VA “Morphe Vol. I”, by Kaligo Records, earning the track “NGC 4650A ”. Deep basslines and a haze are common to all bands. dense environment that creates an environment conducive to time travel. Armed with a vast musical repertoire and aware of the public's demand for something that goes in addition to the traditional molds, Lucas and Ricky have been building a profile that values the care and for the details of its sound aesthetics, characteristic of those who propel your name among the bastions of the underground scene.
