Marked by his awakened sensibility to depth, Feral consistently carries a thread of spirituality throughout his work. He has inherently embodied the spirit of deep techno, of which defines Hypnos Records, through his passion for audio engineering, hardware experimentation and fascination for percussive instruments. Feral’s affinity for the shamanic calls of the tribal drum have led him across the world to discover and nurture his defining sound. Finding comfort in the solitude of his studio, Feral’s visions emerge in the crepuscular hours of his native city, Rome. With a heightened sense of spatial awareness, the sounds of Feral unearth the path of his multidimensional world, transporting the listener to a haunting, yet grounding refuge within.

Influenced by the deeper sounds of techno, atmospheric, and most things unconventional, she views the art of mixing as a spiritual practice that seeks to "balance relationship to mind and body. Her sets lean in the direction of storytelling, turning the moment's vibe into sonic passages, usually with a dark and moody undertone that reveal splashes of light and space to feel. Glasgow based Fernie has been immersing himself in the local scene since 2002 taking influences from the city's many techno stalwarts holding residences at a number of the areas key venues allowing him to hone his style over the years.

He provides both deep and driving hypnotic sets full of energy and soaring pads. This same ethos is relayed through his own productions which have seen release across a wide selection of respected labels.

Most recently he continues to develop his own Space Textures imprint facilitating the release of some of the finest atmospheric techno on offer. He also works with the influential Norway based Monument group to deliver podcasts and streams from artists around the globe.

In this session for Temple.Prayer, Fernie delivers a near 2 hour mix of both vinyl and digital selections with a number of unreleased productions and picks from the vaults providing a meandering journey into his mind.

Mary Yuzovskaya made a name for herself in the mid-2000s by showcasing a deep passion for vinyl, with her razor-sharp precision mixing resonating throughout Berlin and beyond. Since then she has come a long way, relocating to New York where she started her own Monday Off imprint and podcast to showcase the poignant psychedelia inherent to her musical world. Here she showcases the more intimate corners of her collection with the same care and attention to detail that she is known for. Perfect for riding out the last of the cold days as we wait for Spring’s warm embrace.

DJ Sodeyama’s been around since the 90s, a Tokyo-based whizz and DJ’s DJ, whose career has offered the type of sound many selectors would envy. It’s incredibly sharp, meandering along its intelligent thread in unexpected and high-minded ways. Since the early noughties he could add producer to his soubriquet too, flexing his minimal muscle with early releases, a steady stream of ensuing ventures further cementing his craft via Korean-based deep techno distributor Artscope, Dynamic Reflection, illegal alien, Daybreak and many more. He’s also explored adjacent genres and ventured into the world of house under his parallel alias The People In Fog. Pretty full plate, but the quality of his sound has suffered nothing for it. His techno is an expert tapestry of interlaced details and lingering moods, injected with raw feeling and undeniable skill. It darts from peak to peak, fusing frequencies riddled with forward-pitched elements and vivid effects, and forges a long-range feeling that abuts the realm of both man and machine. Thick and volatile techno that serves as proof that the genre can keep expanding outwards in fresh and surprising ways. Bassiani Podcast 260 moves the needle further, it's quintessential Sodeyama: vivid climbs and steep descents, warped vocal samples, brave and unbending beats for prime-time raving.

일렉트로닉 음악 작곡가이자 라이브 연주자, 30D 레이블의 운영자인 30drop은 바르셀로나의 전성기 때 유년 시절을 보내며 포스트 펑크, 고스, 그리고 일렉트로닉 음악에 빠져들었고, 90년대 중반 바로셀로나의 전설적인 클럽들 - Nitsa, KGB, Moog, Syndicate에서 시데랄(Sideral)이나 앙헬 몰리나(Angel Molina) 같은 로컬 디제이들의 세트를 들으며 성장했다. 2000년대에 들어 테크노, 실험음악, 인더스트리얼 장르에 깊이 빠져든 그는 30drop이라는 가명을 만들고 40~50년대 미래 공상 과학 소설과 클래식 디트로이트,  버밍엄 테크노에서 영감을 받은 새로운 테크노 음악을 만들기 시작했다. 이후 그는 Berghain, Tresor, Moog 등의 세계적인 클럽에서 공연하는 유럽 일렉트로닉 뮤직 씬의 주요 인물이 되었고, 2014년에는 기능적이면서 동시에 실험적인 댄스 음악을 위한 플랫폼 30D Records를 설립하여 현재까지 이어오고 있다.
30drop은 2015년 Detroit Underground 레이블에서 첫 정규앨범 ‘Tools For The Dimensional Step(2015)’를 발표한 이후, 제프 밀스(Jeff Mills)가 운영하는 전설적인 Axis Records에서 ‘Soroban(2020)’과 Photosynthetic Zone Manifesto(2021)’, 30D 레코즈를 통해 ‘The Time Of Cruel Miracles(2017)’, ‘Insight Into Mind And Space(2023)’를 발매하는 등, 현재까지 총 5장의 정규 앨범과 수많은 EP 앨범들을 발표했다.

Electronic music composer, Live performer and 30D label owner 30drop was born and raised in Barcelona where he first fell in love with post-punk, goth and electronic music during the city’s post-Olympia heyday. At the time, Spain was bursting at the seems with new artistic and cultural energy culturally in the wake of the ‘La Onda Layetana’ cultural movement in Barcelona in the late 70s and the ‘La Movida’ movement in Madrid in the 80s. 
30drop spent the mid-90s between legendary clubs Nitsa, KGB, Moog or Syndicate (in neighboring Terrassa) and various local skate parks, where tapes of the previous nights' sets by local heroes such as Sideral or Angel Molina were played and traded. Delving deeper into techno, experimental and industrial electronics in the 2000s, he adopted the 30drop moniker in reference to the drop-frame time code used for synching 1950s US black and white TV images to sound. He eventually began making music inspired by Russian, British and American retro- futuristic science fiction of the 40s and 50s, as well as classic Detroit and Birmingham techno. 
Since 2014 he has become a staple of the European electronic music scene, playing venues such as Berghain, Tresor, Moog Club, etc. The same year he also established his own 30D records imprint as a platform for both functional and more experimental strains of dance music. 
As a producer, 30drop combines elements of industrial, bleep techno and electro with polyrhythmic melodies and evocative soundscapes, creating create music that is both functional and listenable outside of the club context. He was released five full length albums, including Soroban (2020) and Photosynthetic Zone Manifesto (2021) on Jeff Mills’ legendary Axis Records, as well as Tools For The Dimensional Step (2015) on the Detroit Underground imprint, The Time Of Cruel Miracles (2017) and Insight Into Mind And Space (2023) on his own 30D Records, where he also collaborated with Gerald Donald (as Arpanet) for the split EP Phases (2018).

A label that ignores fleeting trends and consistently delivers high quality timeless records. 

The mix was of course recorded in all vinyl one take session, where you can expect to hear the kind of heads down techno the label is synonymous for: deep, cerebral and mind-melting - a dedication to authentic, thought-provoking electronic music that transcends the ordinary. Ancestral Landscapes aka SAAM.  is a DJ producer born in the Italian peninsula, who has always had a passion for deeper electronic music, clubbing and listening to his favorite DJs over time have shaped his tastes to where he is currently. Salvo started DJing around 2017 at various underground parties in his hometown and is one of the very few DJs in Sicily to promote deep / experimental techno. His inspirations come from the wonderful nature that surrounds him and from mysticism. Its sound is based on dark and ambient percursions and modulations.
Salvo is constantly growing, always looking for new hypnotic and atmospheric sounds that can lead the listener on a mental journey by recreating soundscapes.
