Stone Techno Festival 2024 - Yanamaste - ARTE Concert

To kick off the year, I’m excited to share my set recorded in August 2024 for the incredible Unfold party at @foldldn!

From the moment I stepped into the club, I was instantly embraced by its electric and welcoming vibe. The venue itself is mind-blowing, and the sound system brought the music to life in a way that was unreal.

What really made the night special was the inclusive, beautiful queer energy throughout the space. It was a true safe haven, where everyone could fully express themselves. Such a cool evening! ❤️

A Berlin native with Ukrainian roots, Chontane has been carefully shaping his sonic aesthetic for several years. His dedication to all levels and professions of sound has fueled his rise in the international scene through consistent releases and gigs at Basement in New York, RSO and Tresor in Berlin, Bret and Radion in Amsterdam, Fold in London, Fuse in Brussels, and Laster in Madrid.

The young selector has passed through Europe’s most respected booths, playing his percussive blends to motivated dancers. Whether in his regular DJ setup or his new vinyl/digital hybrid, Chontane’s sets maximize grain and transients while remaining efficient and fresh.

As a producer, the impact of his records comes from his deep-rooted passion for music and his background as a sound engineer. His work stands at a stylistic crossroads between various dance genres, making his tracks a seamless addition to just about anyone’s playlist. His productions have found homes on Mutual Rytm, Dax J’s Monnom Black, Remco Beekwilder’s EMERALD, ARTS, and Illegal Alien, as well as his own imprint, TANE, where he plans to release records regularly.

Ready to push boundaries and surprise music enthusiasts with unexpected blends that reflect his erratic taste, Chontane’s mixes and productions embody today’s perfect balance between consistent innovation and guaranteed efficiency.

Olivia Mendez is a vinyl-only DJ, selector, and curator whose sets weave deep, minimalistic techno. Her sound is rooted in rhythm—shaped by her early years as a percussionist and dancer, and refined through a deep immersion in London’s underground scene between 2006 and 2011.

A passionate digger with a background in music journalism and event curation, Olivia approaches her sets as narrative journeys—sonorous, layered, and emotionally resonant. From Brooklyn to Kiev, she’s queered consciousness through sound, creating dancefloors that pulse with tension, release, and intent.

She is the founder of KONVENT, a FLINTA collective dedicated to reshaping feminist discourse through site-specific music and art interventions, and launched her own label, Dust in Grooves. Alongside Chami, she co-runs DIG Curated, a cross-disciplinary platform spotlighting underground sound, visual art, and community-driven projects.

Now based in Berlin, Olivia continues to explore the intersections of activism, art, and sound—smashing the patriarchy, one beat at a time.
