SIX AM have joined forces with @PFENNINGERxORTNER to bring you a bi-monthly DJ and live mix series that promises to be an immersive journey through the realms of upcoming and established downtempo electronica DJs and producers. With a global perspective and an initial emphasis on Switzerland and Los Angeles, USA, the NEXT series is set to be a melting pot of talent and sonic exploration from all over the world.

The core ethos of the NEXT electronic music channel is to celebrate the beauty of slower BPM electronic music, spanning across genres from enchanting electronica and mesmerizing trip-hop to the hypnotic grooves of downtempo and house. This series aims to shine a spotlight on the masterminds behind the music, unraveling their unique styles, and seamlessly merging different cultures through the artful selection of sound.

In episode 002 NEXT series features @dj_tadej_jaki, a multifaceted artist, has honed a unique style deeply influenced by his global travels as a professional athlete and an intense passion for the indigenous drum beats. His work focuses on the fusion of exotic rhythms, transforming and integrating them into innovative modern melodic compositions. This distinctive approach has led to several of his releases climbing to the top ten charts on Beatport, a renowned electronic music platform for producers, labels, and DJs. His genres span organic house, afro house, ethnic house, and down deep tech.

In his live performances, Jaki captivates audiences with a potent mix of strong baselines, subtle Oriental and Balkan flavors, versatile exotic percussions, and powerful drums with a global tribal accent. Open Your Mind (@onyrmd) is the new project of producer Leo Mendes, also editor and A&R of the label, blog and podcast Emusic4All. In the last decade, the producer has had artistic projects from different genres of e-music, with dozens of releases on record labels around the world, in addition to 4All and sub-labels.

In his new phase, the tracks and sets have all the influences of previous projects and more than two decades dedicated to music, where the idea is precisely to 'mix' all these references from the past, going from house to trance with hints of acid, progressive and more.

Beyond to address contemporary themes with provocative content and to cause reflection, the producer invites everyone to also open their minds to this diversity of influences and musical genres mixed in an electronic music salad, drinking from any other influences without any prejudice and resulting in a unique, avant-garde and conceptual sound.
