"Only The Faintest Trace" is the Unknown Movements debut release from up-and-coming London-based artist Alternate Current, featuring three original tracks of textural, atmospheric techno and a remix from label boss @otherform.

After an early career making electronic music, London-based Tom McShane made the move to atmospheric, textural techno and unveiled his new monicker Alternate Current in 2019, debuting with releases on Dissonanze Recordings and Unknown Movements. With an immersive sound that draws tones from ambient and grey area without losing sight of its techno orientation, Alternate Current creates a hypnotic soundscape that takes off, imperceptibly, without giving up the opaque smoke and textures that accompany listening.

Böse aka Buse Şimşek, was born in 1998 in Turkey. From an early age she has had huge ardor to music. Her music career which has started with being jazz drummer, has followed other art disciplines and especially sound design willingly. After music college and many acoustic concerts days she has started electronic music production and sound design by herself. With curiosity about discovering new sounds, atmospheres and colors; she aims also to find new rooms and spirits for her passion. She believes music is the key to connect with new worlds.
