ASEC is back on his self-titled imprint with five mesmerising techno cuts featuring remixes from PoleGroup’s Kwartz and Soma’s Temudo.
ASEC is a Berlin-based artist and label project centred around raw, yet hypnotic dancefloor-oriented electronic music. To Berlin via Manchester, ASEC’s productions focus on tension and release with tracks that build momentum and intensity. As a Producer, Live Act and DJ, ASEC delivers his driving and expansive electronic music vision, consisting of dark textures, idiosyncratic melodies and dynamic drum sounds. With releases exclusively on his label, ASEC’s tracks have acquired support from household names like Marcel Dettmann, Slam, Henning Baer and SNTS resulting in a live show debut at Tresor in 2020.
‘Small Collisions’ kicks off with elastic synths shimmering off the resounding kicks and crunchy modulations before ‘High Tool’ maneuverers between hypnotic atmospheres and dark, ominous textures balanced with ghostly pads and thudding percussion with emphatic frequencies. Up next, Looping transcendental rhythms, gloopy fx and entrancing leads peppered with undulating minimalism takes focus in the ‘F Brexit’.
Madrid-based artist and PoleGroup, Mord, Semantica and Warm Up affiliate Kwartz delivers a pounding remix of ‘Small Collisions’ as the carnivorous percussion bounces with the raw oscillations, fizzing, industrial components and dramatic machine sonics. Temudo is part of a new generation of techno artists with releases on Soma, Modularz, Clergy, Synewave and more, rounds off in exquisite style with a swinging interpretation of ‘High Tool’ fusing ripping rhythms, frazzled soundscapes and penetrating textures.

ASEC ‘ASEC004’ is out on ASEC on 2nd April 2021 (Vinyl) and 14th May 2021 (Digital).

People unite and self-organize" is a collective cry of the electronic music community to denounce the police brutality in Colombia given in the protests since 28th of April and raise awareness about the danger of social leaders and activists working towards defending human rights. Up until today there has been registered by the NGO Temblores: 2905 cases of police brutality, 43 cases of murder, 26 cases of sexual abuse. 

This compillation continues the campaign to raise funds for Ngos working for the defense of human rights and self-organised initiatives.
 We want to support, especially with the income of this release, to self organized initiatives as independent journalism and NGOs registering cases of police violence such as :

This dynamic duo, hailing all the way from India, has been cutting their chops on their home turf for the last 10 years and are now making their name known in other parts of the world. Their releases give off a hypnotizing and no nonsense energy.

THELIO's music can be described as energetic with a nice driving groove, bouncy bass lines, glitchy effect, tight drums and sharp leads, also he constantly seeking for a new sounds, trying to improve his music and bring you happiness. Check out his new live set in Forestdelic Records series.

Gail is an old and wicked Ent that lives in the nearby forest. Besides his extraordinary personality, he is also well known for his exquisite taste in all the weirdest and twisted styles of music that can be found back in these woods. He pays regular visits to the many different caves and groves where the best of the forest musicians gather to ‘cook their stuff’ and so he has all the fresh and most tasty tunes around. It is a well known secret in the forest, that Gail has a special trail that goes through all these musicians’ places from where he picks the tunes, and that its the only place where a creature can have an ear on them, for Gail always plays some along the way! Shhhh! The Forestdelic crew knows the whereabouts of this trail, and this time they are inviting you to have some time with Gail on his quest for a decent forestdelia. They have marked some special spots on this trail where the most wicked of his tunes are to be heard, so if you’re up for some really nasty blasting, then hurry with that brew and join the crew – ‘cos the forest never sounded better!

BIO:
Yacoob - a young DJ and aspiring producer from Bialystok, whose love for electronic music matured thanks to his playing instruments passion from an early age and the curiosity to design own sounds. The desire to create your own interpretation quickly turned into stage activity. The then teenage Yacoob, inspired by the performances of Robert Hood aka Floorplan or the electro duo from Detroit - Aux88 on Up to Date festival found his musical path. He found a haven for artistic development in the legendary METRO club, where he became a resident, and then, creating the 'Undergroup' collective, he was the organizer of crazy events for rave lovers. Currently, he is involved in the XYZ project, which provides its audience with a variety of electronic music (house / garage / downtempo / electro / techno) by organizing events. His sets are characteristic and energetic mixing, filled with a mixture of sounds oscillating around different varieties of techno. The wide range of emotional experiences during his live performance, the audience owes to Yacoob's careful selection and his ability to balance sounds.

After the initial label launch in 2016, Desroi has been working insistently. Debuting on labels such as Henning Baer's Manhigh or Shifted's Avian, the young artist has worked his name into the scene. The Jazzcodes is the creation of Italian multi-instrumentalist producer Michele Chiavarini and it stems from his desire to best combine house music with real jazz musicianship and composition. To achieve this, The Jazzcodes regularly feature some of the best musicians around. Some of the regular key players in the band include Trumpet player Graeme Flowers (Quincy Jones, Michael Buble, Gregory Porter), Sax player Francesco Santucci (RAI Orchestra, Gino Vannelli, Lost In Translation). Percussion player and drummer Gabriel Nuzzoli (Cubana Pop, Ricky Martin, Jazzinho), Jazz drummer Alberto Argiro’ (Alberto Corvini, Ares Tavolazzi, Stefano Cantini, Ramberto Ciammarughi) and many more. Following the success of their first release ‘The Music Tells Me’ on Quantize Recordings, in 2014, The Jazzcodes are back with the first of several stunning releases, breathing new life into the Jazz house genre, turning dance floors on with prowess, class and plenty of good vibes.

Time to break new soil again with two new faces on the label, who delivered a perfect peak time EP! The Reason Y teamed up with Patrick Milaa and they came up with three tracks for their debut EP ’25 East’. Not only Patrick and Frederik aka The Reason Y met at Watergate Berlin, also Gregor met Frederik there some years ago, ending up closing the main floor with a b2b-set that might still resonate in the minds of some of the people who attended that special night! A release on BNS was quite inevitable and we say welcome to Frederik and Patrick! For the remix we have a very very special guest! Gregor has been a fan of Cari Lekebusch's productions for almost thirty years, so we are over the moon to announce Cari decided to go on remix duties for this project! It is a very special honour to have him on board, delivering one of his signature big-room-not-big-room tracks with one of those unresistable grooves everybody knows and loves him for! The second part of 2020’s ‘Converge - Part I’, a body of music which saw enthusiastic responses from the likes of Surgeon, Lauren Flax, DJ Bone, Anthony Parasole and Jus-Ed to name just a few, sees the Berlin-based DJ/Producer and dancer generously expand on and refine his slick vision of techno on one of electronic music’s key labels.

By encompassing warm and soulful textures within club focussed grooves, Hester continues to explore the far reaches of both the musical cues picked up from his years as a dancer and formative time spent in the Midwest US, connecting influences from Chicago, Minneapolis, and Detroit.

Stretched across a double LP, the album opens with the spacious and icy ‘Stealth’ followed by the machine communications of ‘Artificial Intelligence’. The B-side sees a whirlwind of the synthetic in ‘Instant’ before ‘Contact’ swiftly picks up the pace with it’s warbling pads and slippery percussion.

On the second disc, ‘Circadian Slip’, custom-built for dancefloor pandemonium, continues with off-kilter leads and vocal snippets before ‘Shadows’ brings eerie syncopation to the proceedings. In the final stretch, ‘Silver’ maintains steady energy into the twilight hours, and the gorgeous ‘Wonder’ closes out the LP beautifully, providing a soft landing to an exceptional journey through Hester’s sound.
