A continuous transition, where liberation is in the process, Gegen Berlin is proud to announce its debut in the music scene with its first record GEGEN001 produced by Gegen Records. 

After 9 years of tireless events they have decided to assail your minds with something more tangible and immortal. A1 on the vinyl record is "Deity" by one of our resident Esther Duijn, with acid atmospheres reminiscent of the raves of the past, A2 is a reinterpretation by one of the masterminds of techno music, Scalameriya, adapting the original vibes in a blend of futuristic sound design and shape-shifting grooves. 

On the other side, "Vertigo" by Ayarcana is an industrial anthem with eerie atmospheres and hyper speed beats that never relent throughout the track. "Vertigo" is remixed by our resident LɅVΣN, who evokes the illusion of calm before diving into a post-apocalyptic lucid dream.

We are proud to start 2021 with our first ever eco-friendly vinyl release - a very unique and stunning EP from the Irish producer and Rebekah's current favorite artist - DAHRYL. The blend of hard industrial and 90's inspired techno comes perfectly in his very qualitative work. Each track is a true masterpiece filled with his various outstanding elements, from polished juggernaut kickdrums paired with jacking vocals & piercing synths that leave your goosebumps with goosebumps! We believe some of the best from the artist yet! The Meaning Of Rave is also honored with remixes from well known and respected dutch and Italian duos - Ghost In The Machine and RVDE. The constant reflective and futuristic tension from GITM remix is surprising with its provoking drills break while the Italian vision of Nightmare is more ravey with sharp groove-based drums and driving atmospheric backgrounds that finish the EP perfectly. In the end we are having a total recovery after those hard times in 2020.
