Long-standing German artist Bleak returns to Out-ER with a full EP, having previously appeared on a Different Seasons VA compilation for the label. 

His productions are underpinned by warm bass constructions, evolving dark and surreal pad sounds, chords and heavy rhythms. Evoking cavernous spaces of reverb and complex structures in his music, Bleak is at once future-facing and inspired by the underground Techno / House styles of the 90s.

Los mitos y las leyendas han servido como herramienta de arraigamiento cultural para los pueblos latinoamericanos, evocan la sabiduría ancestral de los viejos de la aldea, que reunían pequeños grupos de niños para cautivarles con las historias y que sirvieran como lineamiento para el desarrollo y crecimiento de sus culturas. En Illegal Alien Records, hemos decidido rendir un homenaje a las historias populares mexicanas que en forma de mitos y leyendas han logrado trascender a través de generaciones y generaciones. Hemos invitado a participar por primera vez a artistas mexicanos del más alto nivel, quienes se han encargado de musicalizar estas pequeñas gotas de agua cristalina de las que se compone el gigantesco océano cultural del que estamos compuestos. A nivel imagen hemos trabajado en la representación y homenaje al arte huichol que representa la Mexicanidad más pura y real, lejos de nacionalismos pero con la intención de la difusión del arte y cultura de una región sagrada como la Mexicana.
Ante el grandioso trabajo gráfico y musical, decidimos realizar un tiraje limitado, edición especial en formato Cassette y Digital, que estará disponible en tiendas el día Viernes 25 de Septiembre del 2020.


Myths and legends have served as a tool of cultural roots for Latin American peoples, they evoke the ancestral wisdom of the old men of in village, who gathered small groups of children to captivate them with the stories and that served as guidelines for the development and growth of their cultures. In illegal alien, we have decided to pay homage to popular Mexican stories that in the form of myths and legends have managed to transcend through generations and generations. We have invited Mexican artists of at highest level to participate for the first time, who have been in charge of musicalizing these small drops of crystalline water that make up the gigantic cultural ocean of which we are composed. At the image level, we have worked on the representation and tribute to Huichol art that represents the purest and most real Mexicanity, far from nationalisms but with the intention of disseminating the art and culture of a sacred region like Mexico.
Given to the great graphic and musical work, we decided to make a limited run of high quality Cassette Edition and Digital format, which will be available in stores on Friday, September 25th of 2020.

Italian based Roberto Clementi returns to Soma with a huge new release, Iridescentia, that explores the tougher edges of Techno whilst still retaining the producers love for deep sound design. Having released with the label over many years, Clementi has evolved his sound and techniques, constantly displaying his talents as a most adept producer. 

Atom Splits opens the release with hard, chugging drums, torn apart by roaring and distorted synths. Interstation pulls no punches as yet more twisted, distorted percussion slashes at the heart of the track with saw-like synths buzzing before dissolving in a huge and emphatic ambient landscape. Title track Iridescentia has a more space like feel from the outset but once again, Clementi’s hard hitting percussion drives through. A more euphoric element appears giving light and space to the track before dropping back into tough, hypnotic Techno.

Berlin based producer  and prolific live performer Hybrasil creates his latest body of work for his eponymous vinyl and digital label entitled “TEN”. Innovative sounds spread across ten tracks, the album is a 360 concept release, all writing, mixing and mastering was conducted by Hybrasil at HBL Studios, Berlin. “TEN” will land on January 15th 2021.
 

The news of the album comes off the back of the recent Hybrasil24 stream in collaboration with Beatport. Hybrasil24 was a 24 hour stream live from HBL Studios at Riverside Studios Berlin. Over the course of the stream he wrote, recorded and produced music live from his studio. A test of endurance, creativity, improvisation and spontaneity, with the idea to test the limits of creativity in a confined space for an extended period of time. The best compositions will be released at a later date on the Hybrasil label.  
 

Adding to a busy 2020 he also worked alongside a team to launch the Elevator Program, a series of classes and courses for up and coming producers to hone their craft with the guidance of Hybrasil and the dedicated team, with graduates then potentially releasing on the Elevator label.
