Detroit-born Colin Cook delivers a three-track EP on MDLR, titled "Commune"

Colin Cook’s influences range from Warehouse, Detroit, and European styles of techno. Combine that with his high energy and unique, “progressive but not too progressive sound,” and it sets him apart from most. Using dark background sounds and heavy driving basslines, his music is best described as “Tough-guy Techno.” From the start of a track until the end, he tells you a story, progressing all the way through making you want to keep dancing.
