German Techno label KIAS is the label of Kiss Klub, a long-standing club night at Nürnberg club Die Rakete. For the debut EP, KIAS counts with a 4 tracker by Fiedel. Fiedel is widely known for his long-standing DJ residency - almost two decades, at Ostgut/Berghain. He is also one half of legendary live duo MMM – Messe der Meister Von Morgen, together with Errorsmith.

Be it in the DJ booth or in the studio, Fiedel is a master of precision. His productions have been featured on such outlets as Ostgut Ton, Pure Trax, Body Trax, Liberta, and Seelen Records to name only a few. He also runs the labels Fiedelone, Fiedeltwo, and Super Sound Tool.

This first release is aptly titled 'Transference' in reference to the discombobulated personal journey experienced by many artists and creatives since March 2020. 'Transference' manages to create a highly danceable, yet slightly dystopian dance narrative, fiercely roaming through a colorful techno spectrum.

Side-A features two variations on an intense marching theme seasonably titled 'Filmriss', the Full version and Beat version. Both versions are teeming with Fiedel's best signature sounds and are slightly reminiscent of Floorplan's finest disco-techno tunes.

The 'Filmriss' theme is an imperious summon to the feet, and the tracks on the Side-B, are remindful of iconic old-school MMM hits. 'Dirty Deeds', on B1, is a feel-good, groovy tune, whereas on B2 'Incheon' slowly progresses into trippy and tribal vibes.

The EP also comes with digital extras in the form of two carefully crafted bonus loops.

Jako dj regularnie grywa polskich i zagranicznych klubach oraz festiwalach a do tej pory miał przyjemność zagrać u boku takich artystów jak: Eelke Kleijn, Kiasmos, David Jach, Daniele Di Martino, &ME, Pleasurekraft, Kolombo, Einmusik, Robert Babicz, Booka Shade, Butch, Josh Wink, Robag Wruhme, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, and Nicole Moudaber.

‘Keep it Simple’ is anything but, the atmosphere came from an early morning field recording in the departure lounge of Milan airport, the chatter and noise comes over as something almost alien and the melody came later after an alcohol soaked evening sitting by candlelight with friends, playing the piano. Despite it’s multiple layers it has only one message - give trance a chance. ‘At Last’ is a more direct affair, with a classic call and response pattern, the 0-coast shouts aggressively at the microbrute and the microbrute responds with a howl not dissimilar to a lost whale calf calling for its mother.. either that or its just a banger.

The Box is a meticulous work of One entire Year, every artist of the 20 selected delivered something that connects deeply with the label and the reason why they are part of it. 
The study goes beyond when Artists get different colors of palettes and a different surface to paint, their known soundscapes comes with something freer than the usual approach that they did in their singles.
