Next Episode of Abaddon Podcast with Specific Objects

Specific Objects is a techno producer and DJ from Vienna, Austria engaged in the local scene as a resident of the infamous Meat Market party series. He has released driving, challenging and intense Techno tracks on the corresponding Meat Recordings label as well as on several international labels like Olympian, NORD Ltd., Suara or Diffuse Reality. Recently, he started his own vinyl label called TWICE INFINITY with a four-track solo EP by himself released in early 2021 and compilations focusing on up-andcoming artists in the making.

After delving into the local drum & bass and dubstep scene as a youngster, Specific Objects’ musical interest shifted to modern techno in the early 2010s, when he began producing club ready tracks that eventually led to his first solo EP on Betanol Records. Soon after he took his music to the clubs by playing DJ sets from 2016 onwards. Signing on the newly founded Meat Recordings in the beginning of 2017, his productions became fleshed out and focused on the dark and hypnotic side of Techno.

Following a series of remixes, his first vinyl EP was released in early 2019 on Meat Recordings, gaining widespread support by Techno mainstays such as Tensal, Dax J or Developer. In the subsequent months he made his mark on numerous compilations for labels from all over the world. 

Despite tough times for clubs, 2020 was busy for the artist with three solo  EPs released on Diffuse Reality, Temple Records and Developer’s Olympian.  While the world of electronic music was locked down, Specific Objects made  the creation of his very own record label called TWICE INFINITY his main  point of interest, focusing on the modernization of early 2000s techno and a  contemporary perspective on that era. Its first self-titled EP was released in early 2021 on vinyl and digital formats.

Headström & Pflug and Pøl earned the greatest respect in the scene last year after several releases on labels such as Schimmer Records, Syxt, Methodical, Drawner Records, Influenced Records and a recent joint album on Death Bell Records. 
The artists played many clubs in the Mannheim area in pre-covid times, where the upcoming artists are also based. 

As part of the Schimmer Records crew they are about to take their next steps, so those are both artists to definitely keep an eye on. 

Now they join forces for the 16th edition of the Raserei Podcast full of uptempo grooves dominated by sharp hihats, flowing basslines and bleepy synth shots. Full energy for long summer nights that never want to end.

Gabriele Salerno aka Hekum has a new EP “Developing of Origins” out soon on Faut Section.  Composed of four tracks, the EP is specially designed for the dance floor. Focusing on rhythmic and intersected grooves along with metallic overtones that gives a sense of roughness throughout the EP. 

“Mentally Unstable” is a track filled with syncopated and fervent rhythms that forges a dirty and futuristic atmosphere.

Portuguese techno maker @lewisfautzi is here again with his very own recipe about how the music of the future should sound like for his new Intense Mechanism EP. Listen to the premiere of the titular track from the new EP now.

"Intense Mechanism" is the first song on the B-side of the album, which instantly puts listeners in a galactic mood with one bar arpeggiated sounds, modulated wisely running over a blurred and distorted drum line.

His style has evolved to harsher territories lately, with distortion appearing as one of the main components in this compilation, shining through in the other three tracks as well. The Intense Mechanism EP will be available in both digital and vinyl formats.
