Hello everyone,

it’s with a genuine enthusiasm that we announce our next release: this extensive compilation will be the fifth of the label and thus the best way to celebrate our fifth birthday !

From ambient to techno, and everything in-between, Various Artists 005 will proudly feature some of the regular contributors to the catalogue, as well as an expert selection of new faces. Among them, Accou (esoteric musician, member of Indian Red Head crew), Matthias Puech (synth designer, researcher at INA GRM), Sonhan (DJ/Producer, co-organiser of Metropolis events in Brussels), Time Scale Dilation Lab (aka Ersatz Olfolks), Polygonia (DJ/Producer, creative director of Lowless), Daniel[i] (DJ/Producer, manager of Whispering Signals), Launaea (Producer, manager of From A Lost Place).

We are truly honoured to share the work of such talented and dedicated artists, thanks to them for their involvement, and thanks to you, listeners, for your continued commitment to our scene.

Insolate's debut LP is remixed by Ben Sims, Pfirter, Sev Dah, Amotik, Under Black Helmet and more for 'Order Is Chaos Remixed' released this June.  

Released via her Out of Place imprint a year on from the LP' Order is Chaos', 'Order is Chaos Remixed' sees the Croatian techno artist draft eight of techno's most vital talents to create a remix LP which touches on a spectrum of modern techno sounds. 

Berlin-based artist Amotik keeps the dynamic energy flowing with a subtle acid revolver.

A powerhouse of the Croatian techno scene, Insolate has been establishing a global presence as a DJ and producer for over 20 years now, delivering as both the label boss and creative force behind the Out Of Place imprint and the electrifying TRAUM events. In 2020 Insolate dropped the critically acclaimed 'Order Is Chaos' album which gained much respect from multiple techno heavyweights, including Paula Temple, Ben Sims, Truncate, Rebekah, Charlotte de Witte, Perc, Exium, and Adriana Lopez to name a few. The album is a substantially broad palette of styles described by DJ Mag as an "exciting journey through trans-dimensional vocals, acid-drenched sequences and floor obligated bangers. Insolate ‘Order is Chaos Remixed’ is out on Out of Place on 21st June 2021 on double vinyl and digital formats.

For the 50th release of ‘The Nursery’ series, record label Dynamic Reflection gives the honor to Audio Units.

This dynamic duo, hailing all the way from India, has been cutting their chops on their home turf for the last 10 years and are now making their name known in other parts of the world. Their releases give off a hypnotizing and no nonsense energy.

This new EP is no different. It is uptempo and is perfect for peak time hours. Our premiered track “Command Control” gives off a great '90s techno warehouse feel but with a fantastic modern twist.

West Rules is the Argentina-based imprint that has seen artists like Antonio De Angelis, Re:Axis, Casual Treatment and Arnaud Le Texier make contributions to their catalogue.

Its label head Joaquin Ruiz known for releasing on Ben Sims’ Symbolism, Alex Dolby’s Affekt and Joton’s Newrhythmic, offers the latest EP with two original tracks along with two remixes by Italy’s Matteo Cortese and Spain’s Linear System.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the title track “Breathings” with a chunky and rolling beat making up the foundations. Robotic sweeps and elastic twangs create the sci-fi influenced hook combining a raw techno sound with creative sound design.

Portuguese techno maker @lewisfautzi is here again with his very own recipe about how the music of the future should sound like for his new Intense Mechanism EP. Listen to the premiere of the titular track from the new EP now.

"Intense Mechanism" is the first song on the B-side of the album, which instantly puts listeners in a galactic mood with one bar arpeggiated sounds, modulated wisely running over a blurred and distorted drum line.

His style has evolved to harsher territories lately, with distortion appearing as one of the main components in this compilation, shining through in the other three tracks as well. The Intense Mechanism EP will be available in both digital and vinyl formats.
