Jansons returns to Circus Recordings with the infectious house anthem "Medicine" feat. Dope Earth Alien. Following his 2019 debut on Circus Recordings with the massive ‘Switch’, Jansons quickly established himself as one of the most exciting UK producers on the scene and continues to demonstrate his ability to deliver dancefloor-focused house music. His latest track "Medicine" is no different.

Accompanying Jansons on ‘Medicine’ are the vocals of familiar collaborator and Toronto-based singer-songwriter, Dope Earth Alien. With her signature sound echoing over the track, she layers fun vocal lines over Jansons bass and percussion-laden production.

Following up one of the standout tracks of 2019, ‘Switch’ dominated the dancefloors of clubs and was a regular feature in the record bags of artists such as Marco Carola and Honey Dijon, as well as receiving a number of spins from Annie Mac and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Music shows.

Embedding himself amongst a new-wave of underground house artists, Jansons has regularly appeared on Radio 1’s Dance Music shows alongside a number notable releases on labels such as Knee Deep In Sound, FourThirtyTwo and Hot Creations. He’s also performed at venues and festivals such as Fabric, Hideout, BPM and Warehouse Project. With career-defining releases such as ‘Medicine’ on the horizon, 2021 promises to propel Jansons further into the spotlight.

Known for his innovative style and captivating sets, DJ/producer and Koltrax imprint boss Kolter continues to carve out a distinct sound within Germany’s thriving music scene. His expansive repertoire spans classic house, modern techno, electro, and funk, featuring releases on labels like Aus Music, PIV, and Solid Grooves, along with his recent collaboration with Luuk van Dijk, ‘Good 4 U’, on Three Six Zero, which has already amassed nearly half a million plays on Spotify. London-based DJ/producer Sidney Charles is back on Hot Creations with his latest three-track EP ‘Low End Theory’, set for release on 14th March. This marks Charles’ third release on Jamie Jones’ imprint, following his label debut in 2015 alongside Santé with ‘Forever’, and his recent remix of Black Hawks of Panama and Bisi’s ‘Nobody But You’. 

The EP begins with ‘Disco Bumping,’ a slick House cut that blends Aleya Mae’s lush vocals with Sidney’s warping sonic textures and immersive synth work. The title track, ‘Low End Theory,’ ushers in a deep, hypnotic state with its minimal, brooding groove and relentless bass that anchors the vibe. Closing with ‘We Keep On Groovin’, where skittering beats and smooth filters collide, creating a punchy, commanding energy that pulses with Sidney Charles’ distinctive style. 

A master of sophisticated House beats, Charles has established his reputation both behind the decks and in the studio. As the founder of House Heavy Society, he’s curated standout line-ups featuring Archie Hamilton, Prunk, and Kolter, with his label set to take over INPUT at OFF Sonar (Barcelona), The Loft (Manchester), and a USA tour in 2025.
