A pure sonic assault on this latest release from Nørbak + special Reeko remix. Portuguese-based talent, Nørbak returns to Soma with another mind-bending release packed with 3 originals and a superbly crafted remix from Spanish techno royalty, Reeko. Since joining up with Soma back in 2020, the young producer has continually upped his game with every release and now drop this 4th EP with the label.

His Reign Is Over is a fierce yet hypnotic affair, packed with thundering low-end and trippy soundscapes. Reeko’s interpretation of the opening track harks back to his earlier, tougher productions yet still retains the hypnotism of Nørbak’s original. Pragmatically Speaking is a proper warped and tripped out number that utilizes spatial FX to give it width and depth. Title track, There’s No Lesson, closes out this latest EP from Nørbak with expertly produced drive and aggression balanced against his signature looped out sound.

For our 40th release we are very happy to present our next 12", featuring staple Midwest artist. Jason Patrick. Jason originally hails from Detroit but has called Chicago home for many years. His 'Back Channel Communications' EP exemplifies his highly refined production technique developed from years of experience as a DJ, producer, and label owner. Amalgamation opens the record heavy, brooding, and sinister; continuing with Conspire., an rhythmic exercise in drive punctuated by sparse syncopated claps. Flip the record,. JX-216· delivers hefty angular grit in his remix; and closing out the EP, Jason takes us into space with Enveloped, featuring1 expansive atmospheric themes.

Not all too long ago, Berlin-based techno talent Setaoc Mass struck out on a new venture of introducing new artists to his SK11 imprint by launching the SK11X series. Now on its third release, the label welcomes Belgian protogé Border One. Taken from his new 4-track EP, the title track Restless is pure heads down techno goodness. Simple and minimalistic drums with a pitch-changing trippy bell sound create a hypnotic and groovy record for those late-night clubbing or warehouse nights.
