The title track “Quasar” unveils a dodgy, stressed portal composed of razor sharp percussion, eerie deep-space warbles and detuned piano jabs. Next is the ever-so stubborn “Turnakit” with its menacing sub line, woozy loop & crystal clear drum kit arranged as an extended DJ tool with loads of turn-arounds making it perfect for long blends. Closing this chapter is “Tuscan Haze”, a low swung thumper thoughtfully littered with delayed laser hits, bloopy phrases and filtered celestial noises.
