Luke Slater’s most well known pseudonym Planetary Assault Systems is back in the fullest swing with 'No Exit', a standalone EP following his famed 'Deep Heet' installment series. 'No Exit' unmistakably bears all the hallmarks of Planetary Assault System, from mind-tripping and floor-stirring hypnotic energy to the theme of pushing the outer limits of unknown territories.
The EP kicks off with the title track, at its first breath of rolling beat already infusing an ample dose of psychedelic madness, which only to be intensified with the layers of digital chime tones that are constantly multiplying and shape-shifting. “Undertow” on the B side continues with the signature warping and reverberating bells and bleeps but this time with enticing hi-hats and distorted bass, gradually all melting into one big sinister groove. The last track of the EP “Nanendi” might fool you in the beginning with its minimalistic beat, but as soon as the demure yet ominous veil of melody - beautifully moody and almost spooky at times - starts humming and howling, it’s well on its way to make a deep, haunting emotional connection while keeps the tension boiling. Without a doubt 'No Exit' EP is the one that shows the most distinctive core DNA of Planetary Assault Systems and much like his seminal album The Messenger, it’s a deadly unique, dazzling, and powerfully effective work that will stand the test of time.

Dynamic Reflection proudly presents a new vinyl release on their Limited Series (vinyl only) from the Saint Petersburg-based producer Aleksei Nikitin, better known as Nocow. In true Nocow’s fashion, the album encapsulates an array of intertwined genres that goes beyond techno and results in a refreshing take on techno music. 

On “ILES” Nocow shows a diverse spectrum of electronic music sub-genres - all of which come naturally for the artist, who is known for his versatility in music production. In the words of Nocow himself, this allows him to express his ideas to a higher degree of freedom.

All of the music on “ILES” serves as a language of the subconscious that simultaneously brings out thoughtful reverie and the feeling of saudade. It is an emotional experience that connects the sense of nature’s mysticism with the notion of the human self, which allows for the listener’s inner dialogue in a moment of reflection.

The record label “NECHTO” created by Nastia (@nastia_ua) unveils a 5-track EP by R.M.K - a new alias of London’s electronic music producer, DJ, and Fossil Archive label head Rob Kirkaldy (@fossil_archive_rmk), also known as Roberto. The record demonstrates a faster and more intense take on the artist’s original sound. With a focus on the very core auditory aesthetics of raves, the tracks also incorporate a hypnotic groove element of groove. The EP comprises a thundering bass at higher tempos, whilst preserving a soul within the music itself. “The intention was to make a well-balanced EP aimed at the dancefloor, whilst showcasing a range of sounds that provide enough versatility to keep the listener interested throughout”, says the artist on his debut release under the R.M.K alias.

Apart from launching his own techno label Fossil Archive, Rob Kirkaldy has established himself as a notable figure both as a techno producer and a masterful DJ. His long-lasting dedication to electronic music has brought him to the world’s most renowned club culture establishments, including London’s Fabric, Berlin’s Tresor and Berghain, and many others. R.M.K strives to only deliver the highest quality of music and never settles for anything mediocre, as is proven with this new outstanding EP.

Arresto Temporaneo was born very spontaneously as the natural continuation of a collaboration that has lasted for over a year with Tamburi Neri, Adiel and Danza Tribale.
It is pure magic when seemingly different worlds meet and create a dialogue which is the foundation of successfully bringing the creation of this record into fruition. The EP functions as the fusion between the past and the present of the musical experiences of all of us.
Arresto Temporaneo was born by cutting a text “Prepariamoci ad un arresto temporaneo” that the artists liked. The sentence is free to interpret as any of the listeners wish, there is a deliberate reason why the subjective interpretation is avoided.
The EP is filled with the voice and lyrics of A.B. The track "Silenzio" symbolises a moment with which all of us, in spite of ourselves, had to deal with, the deafening noise of silence that can sometimes be devastating and for this reason it is important to understand it and not be afraid of it when it resonates within us.
“Nella penombra” refers to something that moves inside us, not too deep but just important enough to understand, with sounds that nature emits at dawn, when the light still reigns in the dim light, we must learn to move with skills and lightness without harming ourselves and especially others.

Mote039 comes from New York-based Mike Parker, a producer known for his consistent stream of quality work, whose first release goes back to 1997 and who is the creator of his own language of music. 

With Spitting Electricity EP Parker showcases his unique sound of dizzying array of hypnotica warped in metallic swirls. Dubbed with a fitting title to characterize his high-voltage soundscape, the EP is also a nice comeback to Mote-Evolver after his remix for Marcel Fengler’s Thwack Remixes release.

This time Parker delivers 3 tracks that are not only powerful, but also designed to deepen and strengthen almost meditative nature of techno’s outer-end, endlessly evolving with fluidity. The title track is charged with electric sparks buzzing through a hard-edged 4/4 rhythm with unstoppable ebbs and flows of intensity. Following “Polar Vortex” adds even more pressure points and characters, especially with hollowed out deep chorus of voice layering unexpected touch of solemnness. 

On the B-side is “Ice Fissure”, the longest track of the EP that takes time to render its full force. It’s also the track that’s most core to Mike Parker’s trademark perpetuating spiral vortex, featuring ever expanding ripples across the surface of sound.
