Berlin-based duo Mistake Made first appeared in 2014 with their debut release on Vault Series. Since then, they have contributed a hand full of EPs, remixes, and compilation tracks to the label’s discography as well as its sub-label Lost Gems. 

In early 2020 they started their own label Ebene, and in 2021 the pair dropped a breaks-infused track on Second States’ ‘Sum’ compilation. Their tracks have found their way into the sets of artists like DVS1, Monoloc, Ilario Alicante, Rødhåd, Boris, Ø [Phase], and DJ Hyperactive.

Now, the duo presents their 'Phototropic' EP, which will be containing 4 spine-tingling cuts on the revered Second State imprint. The track “Rayo” kicks off the EP with serious energy, bouncy kicks, and wonky synth distortion. The mood shifts as the intensity grows, and the track transforms into something more ominous, urging listeners to pick up the pace.

The yearly Compilation of warok is an existential expression of the labels path. A continuous development of the musical language established back in 2016.
Warok artists and close affiliates gather to present a yet adventurous collection, dancefloor-oriented music but also abstract sonic tributes. a constellation of tracks wandering through different spaces and musical facets. The results are an expressive exchange of melody, oscillation and textures, which merge together and reflects each artist’s ideas.

ANAØH is a label based in México, worked by Fixon and Dig-it, both of who have a long history in the techno scene. The project was born in 2016 in order to expose the music of the highest quality, with conceptual releases and delicate sound designs that showcase the sound of natural landscapes. 

‘ANAØH INVITES’ is the new annual series, in which both Dig-It and Fixon as hosts of the label invite two artists to join them to release four original tracks on a special edition translucent 12' vinyl.

The two joining artists are James Ruskin and Ben Sims, both of who are the fundamental base of the evolution of British Techno sound. For the vinyl, these two have delivered two magnificent tracks “Nurk” and “Punching Up”, which each represent the experienced path that they have carved for more than two decades. 

As James and Ben join alsongside Dig-It and Fixon, the vinyl will no doubt result in powerful sounds - pure TNT techno.

Noise Manifesto proudly celebrates 10 years of subverting the techno sound with a fabulous 4-part compilation showcasing 18 artists.

The artists were carefully selected for their unassuming brilliance and represent a broad spectrum of bodies and techno subgenres. This is a queer positive world Noise Manifesto was dreaming of in 2012 with only a Manifesto and music as a starting point. Now 10 years later, Noise Manifesto celebrates by bringing together artists from Syria to Poland, Japan to Netherlands, Northern Ireland to United States, the blooming queer collectives and the modern twisters of old school. This is a celebration of the interconnectedness of our scene.

10 YEARS of Noise Manifesto presents techno comprised of sonic storytelling (L Ʌ V Σ N, Linn Elisabet, Ayako Mori), classic (Hemka, Lindsey Herbert), punk (Angel Karel, Samantha Togni, Sentimental Rave), industrial (Jassass, Hybral, Lesser Of), fast-paced (OCD, WTCHCRFT), rave (RIOTCODE, Esther Dune), acid hardcore and gabber (Femanyst, Tymon). To conclude the celebration there will be a bonus track from Paula Temple.1

100% of the income generated from this album will be donated to https://thebridge2hope.org/en/ - a registered not-for-profit in Amsterdam who focuses on supporting 30 people a year recovering from modern slavery.

There will be showcase parties coming in 2023.

Back at our mammoth Stay True Scotland broadcast earlier this month, one track came real close to bringing The Caves' roof down during Nina Kraviz's powerhouse headline set. "I Wanna Go Bang" very nearly executed its titular statement – well, if the song was more about wrecking balls and less about...oh, never mind.

The vocals that stalk the track, so wholly devoid of humanity, rub up against razor-sharp claps and serious bounce in the subs. It's weighty warehouse techno of the highest order, set to devastate dark basements and big tents alike throughout the year. Simply put: Icelandic producer Bjarki has delivered a bomb.
