Carl Cox is an industry figurehead whos legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell, and the new release is a techno focused EP from Eats Everything.

As his fans already know, Eats Everything is an eclectic artist who is hard to pigeon hole, and recently his chunky sound tailored for the dance floor has started to incorporate a lot more techno.

Having first broken onto the scene following EPs on labels like Dirtybird and Petz Records, he has quickly risen through the ranks adding labels like Relief, Hypercolour and Crosstown Rebels to his impressive back catalogue.

Eats Everything is a successful solo artist but many will also be familiar with collaborations working with people such as Justin Martin, Green Velvet, Tiga, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Catz 'n Dogz and Claude VonStroke.

His first Essential Mix for Radio 1 is still widely considered one of the best, and his techno tracks and remixes have already found homes on labels including Pan-Pots Second State and Matador's Rukus.

Having already rubbed shoulders with many of electronic musics most iconic artists and arguably becoming an icon himself, its only logical that Carl Cox would be the next person to welcome Eats Everything into the fold, with this being his debut on Intec.

First on the EP is Bettah which centres around the thump of a thickset kick drum and filtered synth stabs. All about the down beat, the tracks jackin groove and rigid sound is brought to live with the energy of the soulful vocals stabs. Straight up techno with a party vibe this track is sure to set the dance floor alight.

Appropriately titled No Seatin Available the second cut on the EP makes you want to be on your feet while punching the air to the beat. Using tom drums to build a rolling groove, the tracks raw funk and dark atmosphere will have people rushing to the dance floor from all parts of the club once this gets hold

Unconformist -  Limits Of Social Norms EP

Almost one year in the making, Bulgaria’s outstanding techno talent lands his return to Drumcode with a four-track EP. 

Timmo (aka Valeri Ivanov) doesn’t do things in half measures. Since the release of his excellent ‘System’ EP last year and ‘Muzik’, his inclusion on A-Sides Vol.6, he’s committed himself to crafting, refining and polishing a quartet of cuts inspired by the cosmic realms beyond planet earth. Titled ‘Meteorite’, its release marks 10 years since he first began producing and stakes its claim as a resounding career highlight with tracks already highlighting gigs for Adam Beyer at Tobacco Dock, Awakenings, Future Kappa Festival and Junction 2.

Beginning with the title track, the streamlined work throbs with a searing synthetic pulse. ‘Black Moon’ sees the EP land its first blow, kicking with a mixture of undulating synths and understated hoovers. ‘Spacetime’ stays true to its name delivering intergalactic techno vibes. ‘Cosmos’ concludes the work, taking us into extra-terrestrial dancefloor territory, with a barrage of trippy synth work and a melodic underbelly the makes the track both beautiful and heavy-hitting in equal measure.

Originally from Kochi prefecture, now residing in Tokyo. He started organizing his own nights in 2011 where he honed his dj skills. Playing anything from classic to cutting-edge tracks, his smooth mixing brings a unique tension and intonation to the ﬂoor through individualistic loops. By gaining his reputation through his dj sets and an insatiable pursuit of the techno scene led him to play regularly in Osaka as well as various venues in mid and West Japan. As an organizer he has brought over many prevalent modern techno artists such as Claudio PRC, Ness, Luigi Tozzi and Refracted, in order to evolve the techno scene in Japan. In 2014 he moved to Tokyo where he linked up with his main partner Kannabi to start the techno party Katharsis. In recent years his music production skills have ﬂourished, hence, set up the label Katharsis Recordings. The ﬁrst release is sprit 12 from the Label founder Masafumi Take and Kannabi. Also include Iori and Takaaki Itoh remix. He is recognized as the next generation to take up the techno mantle in Japan.

Part one, a four-on-the-floor, no-nonsense techno number titled Scorched Earth Policy, built from the ground up to push the tempo and energy of the room to the next level. Although simplistic in format, the razor-sharp synth line creates an air of urgency and angst, with an equally punishing kick drum that holds it all together.

Part two, a free download by the name of 'Weekend At Nik's', is a cut of brutal industrial electro named after one of his close friends. Influenced by the likes of The Prodigy and illegal warehouse raves, mixed with high energy thrash, the track is as fun and energizing as it is punishing.

Weekend At Nik's

Earlier this year, Selective Response released his first music to the world, scoring a premiere on the coveted HATE channel on YouTube. Both Scorched Earth Policy and Weekend At Nik's were clear indications that the California Native was not messing around, with searing hot techno and electro straight out of the gates. 

Fast forward to now, and "Malicious Intent" picks up exactly where he left off. A huge kick drum urgently carries the track forward, while a gritty arp slowly builds throughout the track, with percussive and vocal elements weaving in and out. As things progress, the madness continues to build, until finally reaching a breaking point in which all the built-up tension explodes into pure, unadulterated peak time raving insanity.

Premiere: Selective Response - Dark Dimension [Crisis Of Man]

Earlier this year, Selective Response released his first music to the world, scoring a premiere and support on the coveted HATE YouTube channel. Both his last single-track releases ‘Scorched Earth Policy’ and ‘Weekend At Nik's’ provided a clear indication that the California Native was not messing around, with his powerful, industrial driving productions. No doubt, a new name for many, his productions have already had early support from Amelie Lens, Dax J, I Hate Models, Perc, and more. 

Wasting no time since his last release, 'Malicious Intent', the Dimensions EP marks the birth of his brand new label, Crisis Of Man. Kettle drum kicks with disturbing off-kilter percussive knocks and eerie atmospherics are found in ‘Dark Dimension’. Growing in menace the main synth reveals itself amid a flurry of acidic flourishes. Moody and industrial, its powerful dark energy grow relentlessly with the break serving as a brief respite.

Overdriven kicks and sparse percussion provide the drive-in ‘Gravitational Lens’ as call and response nuances add a layer of interest before the main synths take full control. Energetic sonics grow in density over the break whereby the full power of the track is unleashed.

Magnetic brings you an exclusive premiere from Arjun Vagale's Odd Recordings imprint. 'Weird Stone', from Ignacio Arfeli, is a peak-time techno stomper that is perfectly at home in any club or warehouse. A boxy kick marches forward the lead bell-like sound dances around it, reaching a frenzy once the track hits the climax. The title track features a huge kettle drum kick and rumbling bass to lead the way, joined swiftly by sparse percussions and unsettling, tensive sonics. Something of an oasis midway sees new percussive tones added before the tension is heaped on for the big payoff. 

Far more insistent than the first, ‘Help Me Hate You’s scattergun melodics add to the melee before hats and rides hammer the aggression home. Heightening the tension throughout, becoming almost visceral by the end. Aptly named, this track derives from dark emotions and soundscapes.
