Devastating dance floor rhythms from Slam on the Wave Tension EP

Slam continue to up their momentum with the first EP since their massive new album Dark Channel. Once again, the sole focus being straight up techno, designed for the dance floor, as they drop the 3 track ‘Wave Tension EP’. Never content to remain stationary, the latest EP has the duo in fine form as they drive to evolve the contemporary techno sound.

Title track 'Wave Tension' is a relentless, driven opener as slightly distorting synths mutate throughout the track pursued by Slam’s ever distinctive rhythms. 'Lost Pattern' continues in hard hitting fashion with alarm-like synths pushing the intensity before 'Violence' closes out the EP with warping and viscous dynamics that create propulsive atmospherics.

Sotor Records are a Moroccan vinyl and digital outfit that launched in 2021, and with a superb roster that includes music and remixes by Oscar Mulero, Perc, Zadig, Electric Rescue, and Kangding Ray, to name only a few.

Debuting on the label is Fhase 87, a French artist who lists releases on the likes of Ben Sims' Symbolism, Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien, Electric Rescue's Skryptöm, Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, as well as his own FRENCH LOOPS imprint.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Southside" with a raw, energetic and driving sound. The moody, powerful ride has hardgroove influences, a twisted vocal snippet and piercing synth chords for added depth to this quality cut.

Vibraform by Berlin-based hardware and live artist Peryl provides an analytical yet deeply instinctive view on music. It reflects the duality between flow and restraint, between self-exploration and the healthy act of setting limits. At its core lies a certain nonchalance - a refusal to act on voices and trends while maintaining full commitment to sound itself.

Meticulous sound design, unpredictable, morphing basslines and an intentional timeless aesthetic offer a rare window into Peryl’s creative state of mind. Even as he tries to sidestep personal narratives, emotions inevitably surface in the music, subtly shaping its character. The result is not a confessional piece of work, but an abstraction that remains universal rather than private, while still carrying a trace of personal truth. Four tracks that are striking a rare balance between novelty, grace and aggressive functionality, including a remix by Rødhåd, offer to find purpose in the act of believing that sooner or later art reveals a logic of its own.

Swedish dub-master ADILR is a Stockholm-based Techno producer whose sound lives in the space between atmospheric subtlety and hypnotic depth. Over the last few years, ADILR steadily refined his sonic signature, exploring long-form structures and sound design inspired by natural elements, especially wind and space. His style blends dub-infused rhythms with immersive ambient layers, always prioritizing gradual progression and sonic spaciousness.
ADILR has contributed to several respected underground imprints including Radiance and Point Nemo Records as well as a continuous flow of self-releases via his own Soundcloud channel. One of his productions is also found in our very first VA. We’re very happy to have him back on Fuxbau delivering an immersive full-length LP.

Renard's trippy deep-house tune,"Visit your Mother" creates spherical atmospheres and pumping lines invading from his soul to your feet. The B2 delivers Eros Miguel. His "Tribute" is an authentic deep bass monster, rounding off this versatile EP.
