Tyler Watkins is making his debut release on The Yellow Heads' label Reload Records delivering a two-track EP. He pours passion, drive, and dedication into his music and productions. 

The title track ‘Set Me Free’ has a captivating female vocal with a deeper meaning behind it, delivered with an enticing melody, a driving and energetic bassline, eerie pads and stabs with a dark powerful lead to top it all off. All of these carefully curated sounds combined together deliver an energetic yet also dark and mysterious techno track.

If you like what you hear then this young Australian producer is definitely one to keep your eyes on in the near future.

UMEK is back on his label 1605 with another stomping two tracker in his usual style of peak time techno with powerful melodies and thundering percussion.

After recently collaborating with The YellowHeads, this new one is a solo effort from UMEK who remains one of 2020’s best selling techno producers.

1605 continues to be the main outlet for UMEK’s music, but his impressive back catalogue includes classic releases on influential labels. More recently his tracks can also be found on Terminal M, Tronic, Suara and Filth On Acid.

“Intricately” kick starts proceedings with its throbbing sub bass and titanic groove cemented by an explosive kick drum. After revealing an understated melody part that that morphs into something of a monster as it unfolds, the already ferocious track changes gears in the breakdown to hit the home straight in vigorous style.

Taking its title from the vocal sample, “Astronaut Program” focuses in on the euphoria of an arpeggiating lead synth that adds an uplifting contrast to the otherwise dark atmosphere. The fast-paced rhythms of its techno backing track give it a relentless energy perfect for causing maximum impact on the dance floor.

Space 92 is back on @umek's label 1605 (@sixteenofive) with a two-track solo EP after recently featuring on one of the imprints mixed artist releases.

2020 has been a massive year for French artist Space 92 who has dominated sales charts on leading stores such as Beatport. His remix of “Bass In Your Face” by Twins Project spent many weeks at No.1 and he followed this up with an equally successful collaboration with The YellowHeads.

Also featuring on the Cosmic Boys' Legend and Spartaque's Codex Recordings between releases on his own Perfekt Groove Recordings, this new EP on 1605 continues to see him assert himself as one of the main breakthrough artists of the last twelve months.

With a chunky production style of mammoth proportions, his titanic techno style fuses in your face synth lines with pounding percussion.

“Dune” opens the release with a thundering kick drum and a heavy sub bass that will shake the concrete from the walls. Leading towards the euphoria of the breakdown, it builds tension before slamming back in with a ferocious energy perfect for a hands in the air moment.

'The German Naeiiv is the one who provided the 25th EP of the label. He created two rhythmical and moreover fresh tracks, which are very interesting and renewing. The title track of the EP is called ‘Vault’ and the second track, ‘Voue’, got a sensational breakbeat remix by another German talent, called Vintash. 
‘Vault’ is truly one of a kind. A ‘perfect chaos’ could be seen as the theme of the track. It starts off with a firm kick and some unexpected drums, which are complemented by other impressive individual elements. During the track a harsh synth is emerging, but gets broken down by peaceful breaks. This combination creates a suitable contrast. After the second break a sophisticated constructed climax got reached, bringing in you into ecstasy. 

‘Voue’ is the more melodic one of the two originals, but also here Naeiiv managed to implement interesting and unexpected drums and percussion. A constant flow of pads is directing you through the track, accompanied by lovely chords. At some points even more compelling synths are taking over. This all together contributes to two hopeful and remarkable peaks.

Vintash took some of the drum elements, as well as some melodic elements and used them in a completely different way. The breakbeat-way. This remix is a sensational journey with fierce, but superbly timed, drums and percussion all over the place. Also forming a perfect chaos. The middle part brings back the vibe of the original and afterwards a break to cool down comes in. In the final part an ongoing increase makes sure this remix will be an unforgettable audial experience and forms a great end to this fresh and memorable EP.'
