It is a true wonder to witness this chapter of human history where we collaborate with machines to create music never heard before. Not only do they serve as tools to express our creativity, but they also often inspire us and push our creative horizons.

A fantastic example of such human-machine synergy is the 4-tracker “Definition Loss”, the debut on Consumed Music by Barcelona based artist Linear Phase. Swedish duo Manic Brothers deliver a neat remix in their signature unique style.

Great selection for peak-time modular techno lovers, the tracks overflow with addictive synth sequences, paired with saturated 909-esque kicks and sparkling metallic tops into multilayered grooves, completed by creatively layered fxs.

Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave imprint celebrate their 86th release in the form of this dystopian techno masterpiece from Dawn Razor.

The Russian producer makes his debut on the WATB following outings on underground imprints such as ARTS, FLASH, Planet Rhythm and R&S. Showcasing a style that’s a melting pot of electro, breaks and techno influences, Dawn Razor has cultivated an individual style that blends dark atmospherics with driving percussion and hypnotic synth lines.

This four track release features dance floor tracks with analogue sounds, intricate rhythms and a peak time energy perfect for nightclub sound systems.

“One Six” opens the release with its modulating lead synth and high velocity percussion before “One Seven” takes control with dubby stabs and raw aesthetic.“Jam Space 3” has a pulsating groove with trippy atmospherics, and the breakbeat groove of “Jam Space 2” closes out the EP.
